CA2OR
I have two clowns that are named "NE" and "MO" you can probably guess where that came from. Purple tang is "Jack" for Jack Nicholson's role of the Joker due to the pin stripe suit looking pattern Every orange fish I have ever bought was named "Kenny" from South park and oddly followed the same pattern. Died every time. Cleaner shrimps were "Peppe" and "Pierre" Sally Light Foot is "Charlotte" from Charlotte's web

Michael7979
Never really got into the naming game. But I had a Kole tang a long time ago and my friend always called him " Roscoe P. Koletang" after the sheriff of the Dukes of Hazzard!
impur
I don't name my fish but my wife does. Orange perc - Nemo Black perc - Junior Yellow Coris wrasse - Duece for short. She named the original coris wrasse Corbin and after it jumped the new guy was Corbin 2. I told her she should shorten it to Duece and it stuck. Barelycuda
We have names for a lot of clowns out in the clownhouse but there is one that my wife named. I have to tell you the story first. About 2 years ago when my first batch of clowns hatched I had a very deformed fish. He is missing vertabrae in his back and misbarred. One day my wife said " He reminds me of that short guy on taxi. " Hence Danny Devito was named. He is the only one out of at least a couple thousand clowns that has ever looked like this and lives to this day in my 75g display happy as a clam.
