Quit the impressive setup.  The Macro is looking happy, what kind of lighting are you using over your refugium?

What type of substrate are the mangroves in? Rubble rock, sand, mud?

That seems like a really blue spectrum for the Macros, but it seems to be working well for you.

No substrate. I tie them with streatchy plant tie and just let the tips of roots touch the water so I can train the root system to be tall and thick

My Tuxedo Urchin stole a clump of Polyps.
Guess it thinks they are stylish.

I couldn't be more happy with the way this little micro-water-treatment plant works.
Unbelievable water quality and very low maintenance.

I like the mod chair in there so you can kick back and take it all in.  Really nicely thought out and implemented system.  Did you get the roller filter setup yet?

No roller filter yet. My piece-of-crap DD Marineland Tank started leaking. Getting a Reef Savvy Tank made. 96x36x24-27. The detritus tank does not catch as much stuff as I thought it would. I think I need some baffles in it to slow water flow.
