  1. I'm wondering if anyone in the club/area has bought ocean live rock from one of the Florida area suppliers? I'm most interested in KP Aquatics since they seem to be the less dense rock and ship in water. I wanted to ask the local opinion since we're about as far away as you can get in the states from them.
  2. GreenJeans has one: https://www.pnwmas.org/forums/topic/52274-getting-out-of-the-hobby-sale-apex-vortech-kessil-etc/?do=findComment&comment=496239
  3. I’ll take the 10 gallon Nuvo and Nero 5. Pmd more info.
  4. Went with a different skimmer, Bubba Magus miniQ never saw water, brand new in box. $40 Accidentally purchased the wrong reagent. Hanna HI713 reagent (25 packets) for low range phosphate. $10 In SE Portland. Venmo or cash
  5. I wonder which is better: https://isealive.com/products/innovative-marine-roller-mat-filter-fits-nuvo-fusion-10g-14g-20g-25g
  6. Here's my plan based on the previous post and info I've received. I'll use a gate valve to control flow through the system. 6 stages: sediment, catalytic carbon, sediment, cation DI, anion DI, mixed bed DI. All refillable containers except the sediment. I'm going with 2.5 x 10 due to my somewhat low water volume requirements. The kit BRS sells comes with the TDS meter so that will have readings at: the inlet to DI, before the mixed bed DI, and output of the DI.
  7. Hi all, last time I was reefing was back in the midwest. My incoming TDS was near 500 and my output was ~50 before the DI. The Portland water report shows TDS 22-38. I don't use much water for my Fijicube 22.4. Could I get away with just a triple canister DI setup? It seems much simpler to just filter through versus having to deal with the effluent water.
