I have asked this company to comment on environmentally safe hot glues for strong bonds involving drinking water and/or enclosed aquarium-saltwater environment usage concerning fish and corals.

For small micro scapes it may work but not for large pieces. Ask me how I know lol. I've tried a bunch of different ways to bond and the method I explained earlier is the best solution from my experiments. 

I use brs thick super glue and quick set to initially bond pieces together. Then once I know I'm done with the piece. I go over all the bonded joints with emarco mortar. It holds together super well.

I have one that is acting up as well. It will only power up if I hold down the reser button on the back.

Anyone in Washington have a eb8 laying around they not using? Came home to no power on one of my system.

Yup I contacted ecotech and they said BRS now handles all spare parts for them. 

I still need them later just not now lol. What ever they costed me lol

Excuse the crusty toes lol. I have some 1" and 3/4" gates, unions, nipples and a bunch other stuff. Was keeping it for another tank build but not sure when I will get to it.

Thanks everyone. I got a hold of someone. Ecotech use to be their spare parts distributor but now BRS take care of it. They have a shipment of motors coming on the 23rd. It's not a listed item and have to call in to order the part.

Anyone interested in Gen5 xr15 Blue with tank mount arm. I have 2 sets. They are about 1.5 years old and ran under 50%. Asking $325 a set with mounting arm.
