  1. I bought some a while back when I pulled the fish from my system (due to ich problems....). This bag I bought seems like it might be a lifetime supply.

The stump remover is probably fine too, but if you dose it for long enough your potassium will get too high.

I used sodium nitrate (above) and some advice from Randy Holmes on R2R to determine dosing. I basically mixed a small amount in a gallon of water and then dosed daily.

It definitely raised the nitrates and was a bit trickier to control then I expected.

  2. I would suggest buying new since pH probes need to be stored in solution to remain accurate.

I recalibrate mine regularly and replace about annually. I just throw away the old ones away...

If you wait a few months you can have my old one, but I don't recommend it.

  3. I'm looking to get a frag of this. Anyone have one to sell or trade?

I know it's not rare. My wife likes it and the local shops haven't had any lately so I'm trying here.

I'll be at the meeting this month and could grab it then.

  4. It looks like you are not able to get PMs...

Are you still looking to trade a piece of purple stylo for zoas? I have lots of zoas. Are you looking for something particular?

I have lots of gobstoppers, watermelons and bam bams. I also have plenty of unnamed zoas and some palys. I attached a couple tank picks. I have some small pieces ready to go or I could frag something. I can take a better picture of any of them if you want.

I'll be at the club meeting next weekend so if we figure something out maybe that is a good place to swap them.
