Huge shout out to Jeff for ordering the tank for me. I am very excited to finally have an aquarium that is larger than a 10 or 20 or 25 gallon. Now I need to work out protein skimmer, MP40 vs gyre, live rock vs walt smith, refugium vs no refugium. Anybody that has any input is welcome to share.

Very generous of you and very much appreciated. What size compressor would you recommend? I understand the bigger the better, but what size do you think I could get away with.

I have recently scored a 60 gallon TruVu acrylic frag tank and I have no idea how to take care of acrylic, lol. There are no scratches in it (nothing that comes close to catching a finger nail or can be felt), just a few scuffs and a couple spots where it looks like it may have come in contact with some sort of chemical and dripped down. How can I buff out the scuffs and what looks to be etching?

You have a beautiful clam... I love the way it sparkles when its wide open... I have a clam holder if you wanna use it, it might be a tight fit... But seriously, your bare bottom really compliments your clam from this angle....

Thanks for the hot tip. I just did some research and found that the 211gph on the 20 is the same as the 25 which leads me to believe it is the exact same pump, so I ordered a Sicce 1.5 as well which just so happens to be a door buster at BRS.

I was going to put (2) 530 GPH Power heads, opposite sides facing each other, alternating every 5 minutes, on a 25 Gallon Fusion Lagoon with mainly SPS and a splash of LPS. Is this enough flow?

Thanks guys for the rapid response. I honestly had no idea there were so many options in my price range. Sometimes I get wrapped up looking into the name brand crap and I forget that there are other products out there where I don't need to pay extra for the name.

Ok heres the deal. Aquarium Dimensions: Length: 24” Width: 15” Height: 13” I need a lighting recommendation based on the above tank and a desire to grow out SPS. I have looked into LEDs and I can't afford the price tag. I looked into DIY LEDs and I don't have the time nor the knowledge on how to build a fixture. I can afford a cheap 4bulb t5ho fixture and buy ATI bulbs for it. or I also have a kessil a150 laying around and found a second one for $100 that I could buy and pair them Will any of the above options work for SPS? I know that the best option is always the one I can't afford but I have to keep it around $200 and there is nothing I can do about it. Any ideas are welcome.
