  1. Biocube 29 Comes with: Stand w/lazy susan bolted on for super easy maintenance Skimmer media tray mj1200 return 50w heater lights are 30 days old retrofit w/moonlit LEDS Just need it gone! I'm in Tumwater, WA willing to meet as far as kelso if needed. Will trade for a calcium reactor
  2. Yeah mine is complete and ready to go! PM'd ya already on it.
  3. I've always heard that while initially they help stir the sand but then they never stop and eventually deplete your sandband of any little critters that are supposed to be helping you. I've got a 120g with about a 2" deep bed and have been told that one would strip my bed in a few months. So i've held off.
  4. Mods... please delete this thread, i obviously messed up by editing and now i can't go back to edit/remove. :( I'll start up a new thread with proper formatting from the get go.
  5. Just picked up a Biocube 29 and just decided i do NOT want to maintain another tank.... lol hindsight being what it is, i'm putting this up for sale. What you get $400(obo): Biocube290 w/LED moonlight mod Biocube stand w/lazy susan for EASY maintenance MJ1200 ph 50w heater Media tray Nano Skimmer For $50 more: I can throw in 15-20lb lr 20+lb of newly washed aragonite sand. I'm in Tumwater, WA but can meet pretty far south.
  6. I had a purple tang... for about a month. Got him as a rescue (in my eyes) from petco. Already had a Tomini and Tennenti tang, at first everyone got along fine. Around week three ol purple got SUPER bossy and started to pick on everyone and everything. I bet he was feeling a lot better being several shades darker purple and fat as a hog. I should have known when i bought him as it took 4+ bags, he kept ramming the bag with spikes on his dorsal fin, never seen or heard of them doing this. Everyone there was both frightened and impressed. hahah
  7. d'oh, just saw there is an equipment forum. I apologize, mods please move at your leisure.
  8. Just throwing this question out there as it seems my tank once back on track will pick up where it left off and be wanting 80-100+ml a day of two part. I've never had the need for a calcium reactor but it is starting to feel that way and i'd love to just set it and forget it (within reason), not have to worry about running out or dosing while on vacation.
  9. Awesome! We're trying to get some babysitting but if not i'd probably bring a couple of kiddos along.
  10. Scarlet hermits, foxface and tomini tang nipped this stuff in the bud for me.
  11. It's about time i start up a tank thread so i can share the ups and downs with everyone. ***Place Holder*** 90g Tank TruVu 90g 20g TruVu sump Bubble Magus Curve 7 [/uR L] 90g to 120g upgrade process
  12. My family hasn't joined PNWMAS yet, is it too late to join and get in on this?
  13. Ran in to something very similar. I was doing PO4, CA and ALK with Hanna and noticed tips starting to burn but my ALK and CA were 8.2 and 400 with Hanna. Grabbed some salifert tests and got a 12.5 and 460. I don't do the hanna checkers anymore except for the PO4.
  14. Sold, please close/lock/set-on-fire.
  15. I wish, my wife would kill me though, already have 2 40g tanks in the garage.
  16. Roughly 9 months old, just decided to upgrade to a large skimmer. Still works very well and super silent. Located up in Tumwater, WA but have the original shipping box so i can ship if needed, would like to avoid that. $175
  17. Yeah it does... wow, someone on facebook also mentioned that. I just got it from someone who was unloading their tank and the previous person didn't want it where I just wanted everything. Well see this is why i was resisting tryin to sell it because i wasn't sure what it was or where it came from but it's shape and size were very unique.
  18. I'm in no hurry for sure. Besides, it buys me time to make my garage sale post of equipment i don't need anymore.
  19. Hahah very true, hence the OBO. If it doesn't sell, no worries. Wife wants to put it in the tank and see if GSP takes hold on it.. I had visions of an under water putting green haha.
  20. If anyone wants to flame, feel free haha i've really never put a single piece of rock up for sale so i'm not sure what the protocol is. This thing is pretty massive and i'm on the fence about putting in my tank so i thought i'd offer it up to anyone who might be interested. Perhaps trade from some frags or maybe $175 obo? I'd say it's roughly 15-20lbs. 22" x 22" x 12"
