  1. Hello all: I've accumulated a bunch of stuff for a few projects that I didn't end finishing. I need to make some space in the garage, and raise some funds for a new project with seahorses. I'm in Corvallis, but I can meet people in Salem and I will be coming to Portland this coming weekend. I'll also be coming to Portland for Rudy's Reef Expo. Send me a PM if interested in any of this stuff. OR Arctic T247 lights 1) Brand new, still sealed in the original box. $150 (SOLD) 2) 1.5 yrs old. It probably will need to have the fans replaced by Bo's repair crew within the next year or so. $75 (SOLD) Medical grade peristaltic dosing pump with timer/controller functionality. I used this to dose tiny quantities of vodka to my system with a timer. Very nice! $115 This is a Nautilis model from http://reefdosingpumps.com/nautilis.html Medical grade peristaltic dosing pump. This is the same high quality peristaltic pump, but it has to be run constantly. It is a good option for dosing two-part gradually over 24 hrs. $50 This is the Commander model from http://reefdosingpumps.com BRS 1.1 ml per minute peristaltic pumps. I have 4 of them for sale. These all were used less than 6 months and work great. $45 each (2 of the pumps PENDING) Jebao JP-4 four channell dosing pump. New in box. I ended up going a different direction here. I bought Dan Lu's awesome REEFi LEDs instead. $175 for everything in the below pics. (Controller, lights, heat sink). This is a screen shot of my order email from RAPID so you can see what exactly I got and how much it was. Hydor Auto Topoff. This was on a freshwater tank for about 1 month. It is in mint condition. It comes with a controller and a sensor. They do not come with a pump. I am selling this one because I am breaking down the freshwater tank. These are my favorite auto-topoff systems. I think they are easier to use than the Tunzes. 2. I have a bunch of orange/red encrusting Montipora. I can bring a frag next time I come to Portland. I've also got some Pokerstar encrusting and sunset encrusters. You can see a patch of the orange/red encruster in this picture. At the bottom, middle of the pic.
  3. Several of us have pre-ordered it, but it doesn't ship out until next week. We'll be sure to share our impressions over the next month or so.
  4. Welcome. We have a good group of reefers here in Corvallis!
  5. Here's an update of my office Red Sea Max 250 tank. It has finally recovered from a big alkalinity spike last summer.
  6. Aquariumspecialty.com Not sure about the probes. Check out the Aquarium specialty Facebook page for a spec sheet.
  7. Sorry to hear, Matt. I've been through the same thing. I came back and my tanks are now looking better than ever. Good luck!
  8. I was saying the pH probe will only cost 325. But, no, I'm not serious. It was a joke.
  9. I'm going to be gone for a few weeks this summer and I wanted something to monitor the tank parameters while I was gone. Didn't want to drop 699 on the Apex, so this was a no-brainer to try. I'll be sure to give you all a review.
  10. The pH probe will be available in a month for only $325. LOL
  11. EDIT: Intro DEAL, that is. Not sure what an insane eal looks like. Wow. I couldn't resist. Pulled the trigger on a pre-order. https://reefbuilders.com/2016/06/15/vertex-cerebra-aquarium-controller-android/
  12. Ha! I thought the 3D printing approach would catch your eye.
  13. That's pretty cool, Daniel. What is the surface for the algae? Is that a screen of some kind? I see that Santa Monica 3-D prints screens for this kind of use. http://www.santa-monica.cc/Green-Grabber-screen_p_82.html
  14. It's a Santa Monica Filtration Drop-In Upflow Algae Scrubber.
  15. Egads! Look at that algae growth in the scrubber. This is 12 days of algae growth. I wonder how much phosphate is in this handful?
  16. It was nice meeting you, Erin. Thanks for hosting! Your new store looks great, and was really a nice place to have the meeting. That outdoor area where we did the cookout was perfect. My new additions are all doing very well. And I might have to come back for seahorses in the near future.
  17. When you run out of room in your house for tanks, you build another room. Genius!
  18. Double check it with a Salifert Alk test. Sometimes after sitting for a while the Hanna reagent can go bad. If it is correct, slowly breaking bring it back up.
  19. It's kind of like cleaning teeth. LOL. Nice looking setup, Son!
  20. I just got some big chunky frags from Cody today too. Cody is the man!
  21. I've got a rock in one of my display tanks that has green star polyps and then a different color (the one above the gsp) that seems to be less common. I think Robert called them "Fade to Blue" star polyps.
