  1. For sure, I agree! It would be cool and probably, hilarious as hell! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  2. Totally cool! Don't understand why there isn't much "likes" or comments, hmm... Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  3. I'm gonna have to cut mine. No biggie, I'm kinda handy. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
  4. +1 on the steel wool! Gets it crystal. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
  5. Got some... Pls close Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
  6. Glad to hear the led retro board is working out ok. I should be ordering 2 boards sometime this coming week. Did you have to cut the black box like the video showed?
  7. If I don't get any today, Saturday for sure. Thanks, Ming
  8. What time will you be available today? Not sure if I'll be in Portland today but if I am, I'll text ya.
  9. Anyone in the Vancouver/Battle Ground area trimming their Chaeto soon? Definitely could use some, if you do. Lmk how much. Thank you!
  10. Have you already placed an order? How many panels are you needing? Just wondering if they have some sort of discount for a "mini" bulk order.
  11. Thanks to both of you for the offers. Unfortunately, after closer inspection of the individual LEDs, quite a few LEDs are burnt out. So, I'm thinking of just ordering new LED panels from SBreeflights. One for each unit... We'll see how it turns out. Thanks again!
  12. Anyone know where I can get some LED diodes for my Chinese black box, locally? Vancouver/PDX area, preferably in Vancouver. Yeah, I know, I could order online, but as most of us are, we'd like it now or tomorrow. Also, if anyone has any they are willing to sell, lmk pricing. Thank you
  13. I'll take a colony of 5+ heads, pls!
  14. Going glass... Envision 36x36x27 corner cube with external overflow. Made with 3/4" acrylic, quite beefy! Got this cube in December 2015 but decided to go glass instead. Cube is in great shape and comes with DIY stand (came with cube) that needs to be skinned. Asking $600.00 Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  15. I've purchased nems from Susie in years past and they are always healthy and bubbly... Great deal on the rainbow! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  16. Thank you very much, Holly & Jeremy, for the reinstatement of status! You guys are awesome! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  17. Thank you Ex! That's a cool link you posted. Made things a bit easier to understand. Lights on both units are working! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  18. Even cheaper when you have Fred Meyer points! I've been paying on the average $1.25, sometimes $1 per gallon, for the last 4 months...loving it! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  19. I actually tried that but the unit that is currently working is wired differently because it is connected to a controller of some sort. I'll be meeting with someone soon that has experience in diy led lights. Hopefully, he can wire it correctly for me. Thanks for the input, miles. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
  20. Another tip that worked for me... Let the weight of the drill do all the work. Keep it upright and level as possible. If needed, apply minimal pressure. Hope that helps. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
  21. I agree with Blue, drill outside with a water hose dribbling over the bit to keep it cool. Make a template to start your hole. After about 30 secs. you can remove the template. Easy peazy actually, for the first timer. I just finished making 2 frag tanks, 48"x24"x12", with 1/4" mirrored glass my father-in-law had in the garage. You can do it, just be safe! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  22. Picked up 2 DIY LED units a few months back from someone on this forum. One unit is working fine but the other needs to be wired back together. If anyone in the Vancouver/Battle Ground area has experience in wiring DIY setups, pls lmk, maybe I can bring it over and you can take a look. The heatsink is already wired with all the LED's, just need to wire the drivers together and controller (I think). Thanks everyone! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
  23. Gumbo! Throw everything in but the kitchen sink! Mmm... One of my faves! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
