  1. Did some cleaning today, broke out the cheap shop vac to clean out my sump and do a water change. Since the skimmer sold and I’m waiting for my new one I figured it was a good time to get all the crud out of the sump. I also ordered a small return pump to put in the sump so keep the detritus from building up in the sump. I’m debating if I want to build a refugium for the sump or not once the new skimmer arrives. The only downfall is the cure time for the silicone I won’t be able to run the sump for at least a couple days. c7482bf86733983b0ba592d1f3db7fe9.jpg2adeca866b764ef4bff6abb457b9cc21.jpg little before and after vacuum pics.

  3. I’ve never gone for weight. With 100 plants in flower at a time that came along with it. I hated growers who only bragged about weight and then their product was garbage. I started doing this to help my wife with her problems. Then it turned into something a little more for a while. This plant was vegged under t5 for its first 60 days. Then went outside for an experiment. The others were cloned under t5 and then DE phantom for the rest of their growing days. 8656560b28c6e1be2beb5f9b4555584c.jpgd75fa711fe96c9fde9ea94e9e32f0684.jpg8d5f91076e7a15efd78cdc1d79eedbf7.jpg

  4. 6500k bulbs are in it. I’ve grown plants to teens with these lights easily. I ran them over my 144 spot cloners and ran 3 of them in a small veg tent. They most certainly will grow but I wouldn’t suggest trying to flower with them.

  5. This is a brand new light. It was a backup for one of my grows. No need for it anymore. I was going to use it over a grow out tank in my garage but I have 3 motors going into the garage so I won’t have room to run a grow out tank until I get the motors done. I’m in Oregon city. Could use this for a frag tank if it’ll grow weed it’ll grow frags [emoji23] 80 jr bacon cheeseburgers for it. Or 80 dollar bills, 80 stripper tickets, however you wanna do it it’ll need to equal 80 US dollars 64ba8a27493eba87a9ba4d13e41a9e5b.jpg276eefbc993ed667a5af8e6d6fee3d4e.jpg

  6. I have my reef octopus skimmer with the otp2000 pump I’d like to sell. This skimmer is a beast. It’s apx 11x8 footprint. It skins very well wet or dry I just needed more space in my sump. Price is 80 bucks that should be extremely fair for a reef octopus! I’m in Oregon city. Not really looking for trades on this unless you have some nice torches. 8cb8df11df335e892dd3571f6178de3d.jpg

  7. I’ve not seen a water box in person yet but I own a reefer 170 and had a 625xxl in the past. So I’ll give you my personal opinion on the Red Sea setups. They are very easy to plumb but I’ve not been able to get my 170 dialed in so I’ll be changing to a gate valve instead of the one Red Sea sends.
I’ve seen people say the stands suck but I’m very pleased with mine, no rust on the hinges, comes with the sound deadening mat for under the sump which is a nice touch.
The glass is very nice quality and seems are done [language filter] near perfectly.
Honestly my only complaint is the valve they use for overflow is junk. The new sump designs are much nicer too.
Hope it helps and congrats on the soon to be new tank!

  8. I have a nice 250 watt halide setup which includes a reefbrite controllable ballast, pendant, and a 20k radium bulb. I’d like to trade for some coral

    Torch

    Octospawn

    Nice sized red flowerpot

    Something along those lines. 0c08a900a899c758f31c6bb60c37460e.jpg

  10. Added a new pair of clowns and a jumbo cleaner shrimp (behind the rock of course) I was originally planning on a pair of storm troopers but these caught my eye and were under half the price of the storms. So with my daughter and my obsession with storm troopers she named them storm and trooper lol. She names all the fish and picks most of them for each of my tanks :)8604b725f6f42528b6f5471b28cf67ac.jpg
