So tank will be ready in 4-5 weeks and it's going in the living room. The stand and canopy need to look good and I'm hoping to get some help building one or hire someone to build one for me. When he is finished with his current projects yes. I reached out to wanareef as well; however, he seems to have closed down shop till the new year. James , in the meantime , asked me to get the stand together so I'm sourcing some builders for better craftsmanship than my own.

I have decided to go a different direction with this build. I purchased a 180 gallon marineland last year off a member and its been sitting since december. I did however build a stout stand for it. Yeah that is a spendy few days. I use a 40 and a 10 in a 27 gallon cube. cubes are odd for flow though.

Spoke with Jeff. Those are good tanks but perhaps a little deep for my preferences. I would also like a super quiet system and the overflows in the DD are not so silent. I was able to get a hold of James at envision and we had a good chat.

So true. I know there will be a move in the next couple years and I want to be able to take this tank with me and make certain its a more permanent piece of furniture. I will let you know. I am working most the day but should be able to find time to call him.

Hello friends, So after a year and a half of running my marineland 30 cube and looking at my marineland 180, I have decided to go another direction. I have a sweet custom built sump by Wannareef that I will keep for the new build and sell the 180 reef ready here shortly. So here it is. I am looking to have a tank built that is 5x2x2 with external overflow built. Perhaps a little deeper. I only know of Wannareef and his amazing work on my sump; however, I know there are a few more tank makers around that may weigh in.
