And I removed the green water wheel before attempting this

The bearing is where the arrow points, under the clear plastic piece. You could also soak in vinegar to be safe.

That huge oring is the "seal" between the pump motor housing and volute

There is a ceramic bearing on the shaft. Make sure it spins freely on the shaft. The one I was working on did this and I had to grab ahold of the bearing (with pliers) and turn it to get it free again. Almost seems like it should be lubricated but it's ceramic so idk why it's happening. If that's not it, not sure :-/

Also, what's your salinity at? Keeping it at 1.026 will help keep your levels up.

You can still pickup, just send him a msg on eBay after the auction and he'll send you an invoice without the shipping cost in it.

Yikes that's really low, but take it easy bringing it back up. Your corals have slowly adjusted to the lower levels so don't panic and shock them dosing like crazy. I had a similar issue and slowly brought it back up and things recovered fine. Try and get that Mag up in the 1300s at least and slowly dose cal and alk. It sounds like your outrunning the kalk is adding, so 2 part should be initiated to get things back to normal again.

Please come trade me anything (but yumas) for some neon green ones lol, they are going ape in my tank! Have time this weekend.

Hit up TAP plastics in Portland. They are cheap and come in 3-6 ft lengths.

I plan on taking the class. I have only ridden a few dirt bikes and one street bike a 2001 triumph 600tt for about 20 min and Loved it. Don't get me wrong I love the ducati monster and would love to have one. I am looking for more of a cruiser' date=' and man did my my neighbors 98ci with pipes feel and sound good while sitting on it in his driveway.[/quote']
I'd highly recommend the class, really helps the new rider. Plus if you do ok, your endorsement is all taken care of. I miss my FZR600 but I sold it to buy my house lol, so slightly better long term investment. I keep telling my fiancé that as long as I have a fast car I can keep the bike itch at bay

Nice work on the stand! I personally think a 90 is a great size for stability and long term success. I think you'll enjoy it.

Thats what i ordered. What size tank are you running it on?
It's on my 210 with 40 gal sump. A bit overkill but I have 4 decent sized tangs amongst the other fish. Have an avast swabbie on it so never worry about cleaning it

I have the Elite 220, it's epic, you'll love it!

+1 to the bleach cycle. Then the extra wash cycle.
Did the same as well. I would put them in a bucket with some hydrogen peroxide beforehand also, helps them not to stink so bad between loads and also breaks down the organics too. I just used a cup or so and would squirt a little more on the pile as I added more.

Oh ok jlmk what day works for you
Tomorrow afternoon would work great, I'm going to grab some stuff out and isolate it in the sump for ya.

Diy is where it's at for small tanks like that. I whipped up a single channel 20 led unit for under $40. PM me if you're looking for ideas on smaller diy units.

If you want some shrooms I've got a bunch, both toadstool and green/purple mushrooms. Also have mad amounts of green Yumas lol
-
I've seen it before at OIAB but haven't checked lately, give Jason a call.
-
Theclark and I both have them. They are cheap to buy too. I'd assume the 6000 should be in the 40-60 SCFH range based on similar dc models.

Sweet dude, really cleans it up nicely!
Jebao DC pump fail

Sounds like the same symptoms I came across. I would try and turn it and it was super hard to turn. This is because the bearing is essentially locked in place and it's only letting it slip from the rubber top slipping. You will need a set of ring clip pliers to get that retaining clip off so you can get the impellor off to mess with the bearing.
The oring isn't really necessary for submerged pumps but I'd leave it to keep max effeciency (no leaking loss). Maybe your not installing right, it just slips around the circle on the motor side.
