Another overflow might help, it would at least lessen any dead spots. . A spraybar might also help distribute flow to where you need it.

Feed as little as possible. I would only be feeding the fish, and lightly at that, making sure the eat everything is added.

Maybe someone with macro algae can donate some too you. This will help remove some of the pollutants. Also, if you are running a filter sock, keep it clean, this will minimize dissolved organic matter.

Prevention is going to be your main goal. Prevent too much food and waste. Keep flow maximized and even, and export nutrients as efficiently as possible (macroalgaes, small water changes, keeping your sock clean if you use them, run carbon. Etc).

If I had any equipment left I would donate to your cause but I don't, so advise is all I can give.

I am selling my backup milwaukie refractometer. Model MR100ATC. I have had these for years. It was what I used for my maintenance business and what I used at Portland Aquarium. I am keeping one, for my next venture, but I don't think I need a backup any longer.

These are very nice and reliable refracts. Almost never need calibrated. These arent like bulk reef or marine depot specials, these are much nicer. They retailed for like $100 when they were available. I love them.

I have 3, brand new in box, Galaxy Select-A-Watt metal halide ballasts. 2 pending sale.

One ballast can run 150, or 175, or 250 watt and HQI metal halides just by turning a switch. Again brand new, never been used. Great ballasts.

I have used oxytetracycline on marine inverts before. I have used it on sea stars etc. I am not home right now to look in my dosage book but you can get oxytet at local feed stores like coastal for cheap.

+18 on toadstool lol. Sloughage is somewhat of a normal thing, however I did notice mine did that once when salt creep dropped down on it, and also when battling a neighbor coral. Can be an indicator of irritation

Both saddles have it? One eye or both eyes? Popeye itself isnt the problem but represents an underlying issue. Could be physical damage. Bacterial or even viral.

What are your water parameters? Might be tough to know the water quality they came from. May clear up in time under good water params. May need antibiotic, or nothing may work (viral). I also agree, we need to know how long you treated etc.

Garlic and melafix really dont do much in this case. Heard a few good things about maracyn products

May be interested. Love my incredible 2 but working construction at the new aquarium has put a hurt on it. The concrete dust and everything really took a toll on the speakers. What do you mean by exchanged unit? I may stop by the mall tomorrow and check one out at the verizon store, see how I like it. What kind of cases? After my issues i am leaning towards an otter case

They are a modifed sponge filter with a loofa like material. When you combine sponge filter parts and material, its not that bad of an idea. I wouldnt put just a loofa into my tanks. It would be a nitrate/phosphate sink.

Dont use copper on puffers, it can be especially harsh on them, there is a very fine line between killing ich and killing the puffer. I would strongly recommend the hypo route with them

Quick cure is more for freshwater (the proportion on malachite green to formalin is based on freshwater circumstances). It can be really tricky to use on marine fish. The dosage is different, and again, puffers are extremely sensitive to both medications in it. Formalin itself would be a bettter choice (best used as a dip) than with malachite green but remember, MG gets more toxic at high pH and formalin removes oxygen. When taking all this into consideration, hypo is much easier to maintain and have success for the average aquarist.
