Nothing wrong w/ trading usually the store makes more off the trade than what they traded for, but you are right they do need to make that cash and there is a high turn over rate in this hobby. Wish there was a way to weed out the non hackers.

Ralph gets fed w/ TONGS!!! After holding on to the food one night longer than normal, he started to do a death roll. No missing fingers for me.

No problem, let me cut them and in a week or so when they are healed I'll send them as far as portland at least.

That's what I normally feed him and he wants nothing to do w/ any of it.

Okay a week or so ago I thought it would be cute to give Ralph (my snowflake eel) some live feeder shrimp. Well it was, but now it's not. He refuses to eat anything frozen now. I know he's healthy.....he swims his tank in hunt mode and reacts interestedly when I approach the tank and even takes notice of the food I offer when I move it around like it's a live. I need help getting him to eat what's offered or coming up w/ a live diet that will meet his nutritional needs. Please keep in mind I hate giving him krill as it has been linked to lock jaw in predictors, but I will use it as a last resort. He loves the stuff.

What kind of frags are you thinking? I might be able to find a few, but need to know what kind.

Congrats and I know for me a year was a big deal. You should throw your tank a B-day party. Baby Brine shrimp and a shot of vodka for all. (Vodka dosing, get Ha Ha). I was serious though a year is awesome.

I have a 250 watt above my 40B w/ 4 39 watt T5's you should be okay w/ a 175. Oh and my sps are loving the light.

I would recommend getting the tank set up and cycled before adding sps corals it will give you time to do some reading as well.
