Just noticed my water today feels very warm! I don't have a chiller/ money for one neither do i have a thermometer as of now. What should i do besides leave the lights off? Will the corals be fine? RO/DI Ice cubes?

Yup got that set up, there's also a mode button that either makes it off, on, auto, or RDN. Not sure what to set that to

Thought i would post some new pictures, and make an official tank thread as so much as changed in the past month including: New lighting fixture with T5's and Halides, tons more corals, larger cleanup crew, and 2 fire fish. FTS Can anyone ID the corals i have? Also what Clownfish will be most likely to host my torch coral? Comments and suggestions are appreciated!

Ok so do you know how to set which program i want to run? Say i set program 1 to turn on at 8 and off at 10pm, how do i get the timer to execute program 1 everyday?

Im then confused by why i can set several different programs (1-7) under the program mode and how to set which i want to run.

So i just plug the halides into the yellow slots and hit program once displaying program mode 1 and just set the time for the on and off then exit out and make sure its on Program mode? IMplying that once the halides kick off the moonlights only will turn on.

It's not the same one. i Have the digital display one. I'm having troubles setting it all up, like which outlet corresponds to what number (1-7 on the programming).

Just picked up the Coralife Power Center Digital Timer. Need some help setting it up and which plug corresponds to what number. Is there a manual somewhere online i can refer to? Its tricky with T5s and Metal Halides

By the way what type of anemone is that brown one i have? and could this be the cause why i got ich the first time, because it was expelling zooxanthallae? Just a noob thought.

After one hour of moving the anemone it's doing great again! Coral is stretched completely out and it seems to be doing fine.

Noticed my Torch coral expelling some zooxanthallae, and noticed it was next to my anemone's, moved them away. Only one of the branches was retracted and expelling. Would this be the probable cause?

No fish currently in the tank.

So i lost 2 clownfish about a week and a half ago due to what i believe was ich or brookynella. Since then, did a 30% water change, and have been dosing with marine max which i didnt have before. I have been dosing every other due following the "unsafe" water conditions instructions. Also, got a UV Sterilizer i will be plugging in today in the sump. Do you think it's safe to add a Melanarus Wrasse now? Also added two skunk cleaner shrimp the same day the clowns died and they seem to be doing great.

Can i try it by just dropping some shrimp in one of the mouths? Do i need tweezers to do so?

is it possible, and good for it as a treat?

Just picked up a Torch Coral, large in size. How do i feed it with brine shrimp? And should i add garlic to it as well?

Would it be wise to replace two of the actinics with some other sort of t5 bulb? Is 4 actinics useless?

The T5's are all HO blue Actinic's. So, What is a good lighting schedule? 2 hrs of actinics in the morning and night, then 6 hours of JUST metal halides in the midday?

How does this sound. I'll turn all 4 48" T5's on in the morning and run them all day for a total of 12 hours. Then mid-day i'll run the MH's for 4 hours.
