hmmm interesting, can u have percs and clarkiis in the same tank?

WAs looking at getting this anemone ... http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=497+499+604&pcatid=604 .. would i be able to keep it alive with 4 24" PC lights? (2 actinic and 2 10k daylights). Its a 48" fixture

Dang i was really hoping they would find their home to be the cave i created. Dont they hide in the rocks at night?

So they have moved to the opposite side of the tank and still continue to hug the glass and only fluctuate in depth about 1-2 inches, and thats it. Been that way for almost 20 hours now. WHy wont they swim around the rock, or freely in the tank? Is acclimation always this long?

Before i had been adding a pitcher of saltwater at 1.023 salinity a day. I then noticed my hydrometer reading high specific gravity readings after some time. Then i figured that its because the water evaporates and the salt stays in the tank making it gradually saltier over time if i keep adding mixed saltwater. I since then have been adding some fresh RODI to keep it where i want it. seems to be reading perfect in the tank. Is this the right method, it seems logical, and wanted to make its right before its too late.

Got them today, and have noticed they really only stay on the one side of the tank, and at first were doing a "seizure" act, what does this mean? Is this all normal?

Was reading an article in an aquarium magazine saying that LED's are just as efficient as MH, cheaper, and more reliable. Is this true? Was looking to get a fixture that had 2x250w MH and 2xT5 bulbs, but am now reconsidering.

Looking for a 48" lighting fixture with Metal Halides and T5's also with lunar LED's. Anyone have any extras?

I actually made it work out! I used some super glear, stuck it in and loaded some on there. No leaks!

where the tubing fits into the DI filter, it broke during shipping.

Just received my 5-stage RO/DO unit from BRS. Problem is the inlet for my DI canister came broken :(. Is it safe to just use RO water for the time being until i receive another DI canister? Only inverts and some frags in the tank as of now.

I wanted to dismount some of the corals i have off of their stones and onto some of my live rock. But i definitely don't feel like i can do it properly, or know how to. Does anyone offer this service?
