Acans are pretty hardy. I have never acclimated my acans. I dip them in a iodine solution for 10 minutes and.into the tank they go. Also I have never lost an acan.

I had to redo it. It scratched easy, dried slow, smelled bad and sprayed poorly. Krylon just works. No matter the surface, plastic, metals, glass. I have a 2 year old 40b I sprayed the back of with krylon and still no peels or scratches in the paint.

I have used several brands/types of spray paint. And recently sprayed the back of a tank black like I have done many times before. On this tank I used rustoleum 2x cover, just thought I would throw this out there. Its crap plain and simple. I wasted my time with this stuff, krylon fusion is still the best out there.
