You guys are bad lol. I had a dream just the other night were I found a pair of black and white clowns in a little shop i'd never been to before. The cool thing about them was the pattern, instead of stripes one was white with three black spots at the base of the tail. The other was black with three white spots. Kind of like a ying yang thing. I paid 100 dollars for the pair even though I had to put it on my credit card. But come on if it hadn't been a dream i could have sold them to someone on here for a lot more than that right? lol.

I thought with all that sps you would want mh, shows what i know. Makes me wonder if i could grow sps. I guess it's really all about watts per gallon.

Ya, I loved mine but I ruined my 55. I was going to not use one at all on my new 125 but i didnt realise how much work i was signing myself up for. So now I want to get one for the top 3 quaters of the tank but im so nervous.

The object in question is the Mag float. For anyone who doesn't know or have one, the Mag float cleans your glass or acrylic using magnets so you don't have to get your hands wet. It also will absolutely destroy your acrylic if your not careful. By not careful i mean let sand get between the magnets. So in your opinion are they good or evil. Do you love or hate them. Or does the answer lie somewhere in between. (scratch)

Bristle worms are good they are helping you clean up, so ugly though.

I have had fish disappear and reappear, all hope may not be lost. On the other hand sometimes they stay disappeared.

weird i always herd 1 or a pair. Maybe now that they are sexually mature they are not male female. I guess they cant all be as easy as clowns and dinosaurs lol. (really bad Jurassic park reference if you didn't catch it)

Every thing turned out OK but i did get a .25 ppm reading of ammonia, and the stress of that was not worth the instant gratification. Next time i think i will wait. I used the sand but i had to clean it with the old tanks water. So happy to clean that sand bed finally, after four years it was DIRTY!

CONGRATS ON THE LITTLE ONE!!! My son is named William too, we call him Liam. Love the fish tank by the way. :-)

can real deep water sps be kept under t5?

Do i really have to cycle my 125 or can i just move everything from my cycled55? Can you sence my impatience lol.

This beam has a support coming down from it about every 4 feet. I think it once was the outside foundation before they added on another 4.5 feet. It is wierd under there I found two boulders the size of voltswagons. I guess it was easier to bild over them then to trie and move them. I have a level on the tank and I check it constantly, so far so good.

Get some hair algae to smother it, then just throw in a sea hair. kidding only kidding.

I had the tank buffed it looks great!!! If any one needs a tank buffed Jeff is your man! Send me a pm if you need his info. I filled the tank and the floor is fine. I crawled under the house and found a main beam, then centered the tank over it. Thanks for all the help everyone. :-)

So i just went to fill my new tank and... My python filter was left with water in it and now its mildewed? dirty? moldy? black! After that discription my question will probably seem crazy but, can i use it? I ran hot water through it in an ettempt to clean it out but it's still black in spots. The water running out is clear. :eek:

Does anyone use terra cotta pots in thier tanks? Is thier any reason not too, assuming they are clean and unglazed. for that matter would it make any differance if they were glazed? Any thoughts on porcelain. (scratch)

Keep them both :-) Then when they split again you will have 4... 8... 16... 32...
