    125 Lagoon

Thanks. The real dark purple rocks came that way and i can't seem to get it to spread, but the kind of pink purple just went crazy in my 55. I just hope i have as much luck with it in the new tank, so far it's only growing brown algae.

    125 Lagoon

I finally figured out how to upload pics(clap). So here it is, my new 125 Lagoon. Fish include Blue tang, Kole tang, pair of false percs, Sand sifting goby, 2 shrimp gobie's each with their own tiger pistol shrimp, oh ya and a domino and engineer goby. Corals are pagoda cup, bubble coral, couple zoa frags, Xenia, green star polyps, 5 gbta. Their is also a horseshoe crab, arrow crab, Halloween hermit crab, linka starfish, peppermint shrimp, cleaner shrimp and crazy Hawaiian deep water hermit running around in their. Lighting includes 4 white t5's and two super actinic t12's. For flow i have a koralia 4 and 2.
  5. It's time to say good by to my old 55. I have a 125 that all corals, rock, fish and sand have been moved into. What you get is the tank which is acrylic and does have scratches. You get an acrylic cover but no hood. The stand was once a beautiful rose wood bar and is now in need of serious tlc. The filter is a Rena xp3. The Heater will need to be replaced. The light is a Jalli a11 dual t6 40 watt (1 actintic, 1 white). Also their is a 96 watt cp by satellite with 50 50 bulb and built in moon light. I'm asking 185 for all. I would like to sell all together but will part out if necessary.
  6. "Share the love" :-)
  7. I have only one aiptasia and still haven't been able to kill it.
  8. I love glass but it was so easy to move my new 125 acrylic around (super light).

    Shark and Ray tank

Sounds like the same tank. I don't remember seeing a smooth hound in their before? Was the store in Lake Oswego when you were there? I never went to the store when it was in Portland.

    Shark and Ray tank

If your in town sometime you should make a trip to hollywood aquarium and see their shark. He is in a 400 gallon tank and couldn't be happier. imo he could be kept in a 200 gallon, but not with rays. I think that would be to crowded seeing as they both live on the sand bed. I think it would be worth it just to have the shark though its like a puppy no joke. It's called a Epaulette Shark check them out on youtube, they walk like a dog really cool to see.
  12. I wouldn't worry, it's definitly not a happy camper at the moment but they are hard to kill. It will get better soon imo.
  13. Hollywood aquarium jst got in two, but thier closer to the 3 to 4 inch range.

    new addition

    Cool!!! I love lions.
  15. I have 5 bta and a pair of false clowns for a year now with no luck. The pair of false clowns i had before did host but it took 3 or 4 months at least. The false and true perc's don't actually host with bta in the wild, what they really want is a carpet anemone.

    Sign of addiction?

You guys are bad lol. I had a dream just the other night were I found a pair of black and white clowns in a little shop i'd never been to before. The cool thing about them was the pattern, instead of stripes one was white with three black spots at the base of the tail. The other was black with three white spots. Kind of like a ying yang thing. I paid 100 dollars for the pair even though I had to put it on my credit card. But come on if it hadn't been a dream i could have sold them to someone on here for a lot more than that right? lol.
  17. I thought with all that sps you would want mh, shows what i know. Makes me wonder if i could grow sps. I guess it's really all about watts per gallon.
  18. Ya, I loved mine but I ruined my 55. I was going to not use one at all on my new 125 but i didnt realise how much work i was signing myself up for. So now I want to get one for the top 3 quaters of the tank but im so nervous.
  19. The object in question is the Mag float. For anyone who doesn't know or have one, the Mag float cleans your glass or acrylic using magnets so you don't have to get your hands wet. It also will absolutely destroy your acrylic if your not careful. By not careful i mean let sand get between the magnets. So in your opinion are they good or evil. Do you love or hate them. Or does the answer lie somewhere in between. (scratch)
  20. Cool!!! That huma trigger doesn't bother the corals?
  21. Bristle worms are good they are helping you clean up, so ugly though.
  22. I have had fish disappear and reappear, all hope may not be lost. On the other hand sometimes they stay disappeared.
  23. Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!
