I just re-read your post i would stay away from the tang's in a 38 but this sand siffting gobie will do a great job tuurning your sand bed over

remember to add the littlest (least aggresive) fish first. I think if i tried a fire fish at this point it would get killed, which is to bad because i really want one.

I have a Jalli A11. It has dual t6 40 watt bulb's (one actinic 1 white). I bought it with my tax return so the bulbs still have at least 6 months of life left.

all is included i even have some filter media left (you might want to replace though). It never has leaked.

I have a standard size 30 gallon acrylic i was going to turn into a sump myself but never got around to it. I will have to dig it out of storage if you still need one. Not sure off the top of my head if a standard 30 is under 20" tall? PM me if interested.

I really love my pistol shrimp (I have two now). Beware though if your rock is not on the bottom with sand pored in around it the destructuion will be extensive!! If you are setting up a new tank though you could take the neccesary precautions and have a really interesting creature to watch. My system is only aout a month old but all the rock, sand critters have been in my old 55 for four years.
