the little giant website says that the 3e series is not recommend for aquariums, swimming pools, a few other things but doesn't give any reasons. It is fully submersible or in line. it is oil filled. can anyone tell me why this pump is not recommend for an aquarium?

nice putting it together is fun. My friend and I just got done rebuilding a 72x18x21 glass aquarium.

I have taken apart many glass tanks and the easiest way is to spilt the seams is using either a very sharp scapel like knife or a nice new guitar string. a thin guitar string can slide right down the seam like a cheese cutter.

I have a 220 gallon tank that is 72"x24" except the height is 30" But you could cut it down if you wanted and i would give you a good price as it is a little to long to go where i want it. it is acrylic btw.
