2 or 3 days will be fine Jules. I know what you mean though, I like my fish well fed and happy. we have done that on long weekends for camping trips and they have done fine. I have heard of more problems with automatic feeders dumping to much food which is far more problematic.

Sorry that sucks. When I'm stressed I just go to my "happy fish and coral world". If I were you I would do the following: 1. Check with the place you have the oil changed and see if they have copies of your oil change records. 2. Report the dealership to the Better Business Bureau. Sometimes they will try to work it out with you.

I think it's an excellent idea. I know many of the LFS donate to you and it would be nice to give them credit as well as forum members. Go teachers! I'm all about supporting education, teachers and kids!(rock2)

Just an update. The fish are doing well. The baby clown trigger has a little bit of attitude. The first day he made the puffer move but the next day the baby puffer puffed up and they get along fine now. The eel has also settled in nicely. Has not tried to escape. And who would believe... tanktop74 (Beth) actually likes the little guy as much as I do. She is feeding it with tongs. This from someone who kept saying:"I don't like eels they look like snakes". ;)Thanks forum for wearing her down! The chalices and zoas are also doing well.(drooler) Very beautiful.(clap) Thanks again Isaac. Next on the list is a maroon clown and anemone. Work has sucked lately (politics) but everyday I go home excited to see the tank and feed the corals and fish! I love this hobby!(clap)

I didn't have the time to look at the corals at sexy corals. I was at work and thought people would think I was looking at pornography with the stupid graphics and music. Talk to Frank reefcam. He can help you and there actually is excellent support if you know who to call. Frank can give you the name and number. Beth (tanktop74) had a problem and messaged someone and actually called her at 8 oclock at night and talked her through.

Rick, I agree some people did jump her case and took it personally but if you look at the thread some people (like snowpunk) were geniunely trying to find out her concerns and her reaction was to spout off that she didn't want a "sermon" she just wanted to delete her account. She had a huge chip on her shoulder and lumped the entire group together for a few bad "apples" as you say without giving the majority a chance. Which is her right but I don't have a lot of respect for that. I don't have much time and patience for negative people as they will always find fault with something and she really wasn't open to giving people the benefit of the doubt. I did respond to her nicely several times and gave her several chances. I would like to know your thoughts or reasons for wanting to leave the forum.

I do exaggerate but I was referring to Thumpersalley who posted a thread saying she wanted her account deleted and posted how she was a part of 70 forums and how awful and terrible most of the people in this forum were and how most of them had a "God" complex. She could have just not gone to this site and ignored it but felt the need to announce that she wanted to have her account deleted. It was some funny stuff!
