  1. It has been my experience that otherwise healthy fish will beat mild cases of ich on their own. At differant times I have had fish with ich and I have always left them in the DT and they usually look better in a few days and no other fish have ever gotten it. I would strongly agree with those that have said leave the fish alone so you dont cause more stress, make sure you have cleaner shrimp and make sure your parameters are good.
  2. That might work for the 55 gallon aggressive tank I am planning. If you still have it when I am not so tank poor I will pick it up.
  3. That seems like a good deal for the sum. what are the deminsions?

  9. Thank you..Dave at Davy Jones Locker built it for me. I like having a show fuge. Once I get everything in order I think I will put a pair of seahorses in there.
  10. Well I finally have my 120 up and running. Just needs some finishing touches like trim and doors on the stand but you know how it goes a reef tank is never finished..lol. Here are some pics of the build. Custom Stand design, assistance and custom refugium courtesy of Dave at Davy Jones Locker. He can really put together a stand or anything acrylic! Also thanks to Bob at Davy Jones Locker for all the advice along the way and for everytime I say I would like a certain fish or coral he has it in the shop within a day or two.
  11. Very nice. I cant wait to see it full of stuff
  12. I actually had one similar to what it sounds like your talking about. My was made by redsea (I think it was called a Berlin airlift 60) and it worked very well for what it was. You do need to try and keep the water level fairly consistant and if it is just filling up with water than you need to move the location of the skimmer up higher, so not as much of the skimmer is in the water. Just adjust it until you find the spot where only the foam is entering the collection cup then mark the waterline with a sharpy so you can put it back there every time. Also remember as the airstone ages or if you put in a new one it will change the level so I would mark it after installing a brand new airstone.
  13. I think Bob at Davy Jones has snails and hermits at 75 cents each....killer deal
  14. I was just at Davy Jones Locker and they have two pretty good sized ones. I would say between medium and large.

  16. I am looking for a mag 18 pump. Thought maybe someone had one laying around they werent using anymore.
