Nice setup, I also have a clam in the almost exact setup. I would place him on the right side where the two large rocks on the sand meet the bigger rock toward the top (so the middle of the tank). If he is too little to fit their go get a rock from the LFS that will cradle him a little and work for that area. How do you like the two mp40's? Is it too much for the 120 or perfect?

Yes, recent pics. Have video somewhere if interested. No maintenance records (have manual). I bought it from the original owner out of Portland last summer. The guy was an Engineer, very meticulous. The bike had 9000 plus miles on stock tires (unheard of). He drove it to and from work. He was getting ready to have a baby is the reason for him selling it. My kids are getting bigger (12,13) and more active so I have less and less time to ride. This is my fourth street bike. I love riding just no time and it kills me to see it just sit their. Before I put it away I changed oil, Brake fluid and new tires. Insurance is dirt cheap on a 600 is the reason I stay with that cc class. LMK

Marineland 60 gallon cube. Any one have one. Heard any good or bad feedback? I see their drilled in the back not the bottom (the one I'm looking at). Would this cause any problems? What do these go for at the LFS? Who carries them? Thanks

I bought him a week and a half ago and the owner (LFS) told me to put him as high as possible with lots of flow???? I had him directly under a MH DE 250 with lots of flow. It's only one side that looks terrible. I have two Birdsnest that look great? Any ideas? Did I cook it? Thanks.

I have the Aqueon ProFlex 4. This is an awesome sump. Ya, cost a little more than your DIY sump. The best thing about Aqueon is they stand behind their product. I had the older version (megaflow 4) and one of the seams split on a inside baffle (not an exterior seam). I called them to see what they could do and thy sent me a brand new one free of charge no questions asked. Here are some picture of how I have it setup. I also had this happen on a 25 gallon WC? I always warm my water before mixing salt so it can't be the cold water theory.

I think I'm ready to start dosing. I'm using Kent salt with water changes every two weeks (20-25 gallons). I have a some Zoanthids, a Lg Colt cora, a few Acans, a clam, 2 birdsnest (under 3") and a Acro (under 3"). What parameters should I be shooting for? I have read: Alk 7-9 Mag 1280-1300 Cal 420-450 PH 7.9-8.1 I added the Birdsnest and the Acro one week ago and have noticed my Alk, Mag and Cal dropping? Tested with brand new Salifert test kit. Test as of today after WC: Temp: 77.9 Salinity: 1.025 PO4: .03 Alk: 8.3 Cal: 340 Mag: 1230 Ph:8.2
