I have this wierd stuff growing in my frag tank, It is a farly new set up so it could be the cause but i was wondering if you guys know what it is and what causes it? anything that will get rid of it? Thanks in advance!

Well I finally got off my butt and took some pics of the frag... They are in my frag tank with 4 t5s, 2249 GPH through a scwd and spray bars.

I just put a black piece of plastic over mine and it stopped it! been good for like 6 months now.

Hey brandon let me know if you need some of the novus 3,2,1. I bought some for the frag tank and barley used any! They are big bottles. My fingers and arms were sore just doing the front 48"x12" have fun with your monster!!!

I had to break up one of the rocks to fit it in there! half of it would have stuck out of the water if I didnt! The skimmer is pulling crap out of the water like crazy!

Here is some updated pics! got the sand in and some live rock in the sump. I also got my new bulbs in and they are sweet! I still need to figure out the drain but other than that it is ready.

Brandon, Its a little late, but better late than never! Thanks for the frags a few days ago! My buddy Lee was really stoked about what he picked up! He wants some more now! Thanks for letting go of the green Pavona finally! It looks perfect next to the orange pavona I got first! I am waiting for the frag tank/grow out tank to go through its quick cycle and then I will have lots of room for some more stuff! Let me know when and if you need to get rid alot of stuff before the move and I can put it in my tank to hold for what ever! That tank I got from you is gonna be SICK! Let me know! P.S. How would I do the template? Good thing its only around 50 gallons and it shouldnt be to hard to drain and move around! although I might try to drill it where it is with water in it... What a pain!! The light is pretty bright with my 2 year old crappy current bulbs in it!

im getting two ati blue+, uvl actinic white,ati aquablue Should have some sweet colors and some good growth... I might get a 6500k bulb to get more growth, and it will pull some greens and yellows out.

The 4 bulb should be pretty good, it has individual reflectors and the tank is only 12 inches deep. If I pull the pipe out and adjust the flow it wont make the loud girggling and sucking noise? do you have to adjust it all the time? What do you guys think about drilling another hole in the overflow just out of the side? the overflow is kinda small so there isnt alot of options. Thanks for all the help!

its only 3/4 scwd. if i take the pipe out of the overflow then it will keep up and i can run the pump full blast, but it is super loud and tons of bubbles in the sump.
