it isn't draining from the display, it is on it's own line, and they meet in the sump. but...i do see detritus settling in the bottom, maybe i should add another powerhead.

well it is in my frag tank, no sand bed, and not much of a cleaning crew. a few snails, a lawnmower blenny, a yellow tang, and a foxface rabbitfish.

I am unsure of what kind of algae this is, but I am having some issues with it. I need to figure out what it is, and why it is growing in this frag tank, and not the other, and why it isn't growing in the display or sump, since they are all connected on the same system. I set up this tank 2 weeks ago and it is getting out of hand. Curtis

I highly recommend against the copper pipe...but everything else is good.... Honestly though, the best thing you can do is make sure that you have appropriately sized heaters.

As soon as Cora and I got out of the patient session we drove over to the bar with half of her class and watched the last 3/4 of the game. It was amazing! I loved every minute, what a fun game to watch. Too bad we couldn't hear anything, but there were some OSU fans there, so it was fun to rub it in when we won. Also an Arizona alumni in Cora's class, I love mention the crowd rushing the field, just to go back into the stands and get beat in double OT. Unfortunately I will be gone for the rosebowl. I dont think it will be airing in Egypt...lol.

No man, well I do have water mixed up, but my water is fine. It's a 350g system with a 1000g rated skimmer and a 6" 100g remote deep sand bed and a ton of live rock. I could have probably left it in there and let them totally consume it without any water quality issues.

I usually do check them all closely. This one showed signs of being perfectly heathy. No spots at all, but after a few days it set on fast. Thanks for your help everyone.

They did pick on it at first, but that was days ago, and it is getting worse as we speak. i can watch it get worse, the dorsal fin and tail are visably worse over the last hour. They get along fine now, but still the fish is wasting away.

So I need help guys. I just got a new blond naso last week and the top fin appears to be "melting" away and there is white fleshy looking stuff underneath. The fish also has a couple white spots on it, but not ich, much bigger. They are like chunks of calcium chloride on the side of it's body, a couple on each side. I figure I am going to lose the fish, anyone have thoughts?

Will package CO2 tank and CA reactor together.

I have a Deluxe CO2 regulator with electronic solenoid valve for sale. I used it for about 7-8 months and it worked great. MarineDepot sells them for $149.99 It is mounted on a steel CO2 cylinder 12" tall and 6" diameter ($89.99). I believe it is a 5lb cylinder. It does still have CO2 in it, but will have to be emptied for shipping. CO2 with Regulator and Solenoid: $140 plus shipping.
