So far he is doing fine. Still eating and he has not moved yet (well, maybe about an inch). I plan on upgrading to halides soon, but at the first sign of sickness he WILL go back and I will make sure to get my $$ back. thanks for the advice everyone! Is there an anemone that will take the lower light that the clown would like?

Here is the latest picture of my nano tank. I purchased the anemone about 3 days ago and tonight he ate a chunk of shrimp. My ONLY concern is with lighting as I do not yet have my halide lights (just pc's right now). I WAS told that this specific anemone can do fine in lower lighting conditions. I don't remember the full name of this anemone but I was told it was a 'long tenticle'. thanks everyone for your advice so far. -Mark

My tank is doing great David. I LOVE the zoanthid frags! I finally have the Xenia attached to a rock and it is now pulsing and looking good as well. Thank you again! I did come home to find my emerald crab munching on my peppermint shrimp :( and I had a hermit crab eat a snail and steal his shell! Kris, I would love to take one of those kenyan tree frags off your hands I'll PM you. I just look forward to the day when my tank is growing good and I can give out some frags!

Went over to DavidB's house today and he was kind enough to give me some great frags of some zoanthids, xenia and GSP. He has a great looking tank and was a joy to meet. Heckuva nice guy. Thanks David!

OK, less than two weeks until I take my family to Disneyland. I think my excitement stems from watching my children's excitement! Hmmm...I wonder if they have any good aquariums there?

This guy was in an area that my peppermint could probably not get to. I will get rid of him and NOT put him back in the tank!

I kind of like the idea of the 150w because I do plan on 'upsizing' my tank in the future. You don't think 150w would be overkill for a 15g nano tank? Would that create too much heat thus requiring a chiller? Good info everyone....keep it coming!

Well...look at it this way. The fed's are nice enough to be providing us with some extra money real soon in the form of a 'Economy Stimulus check'. It is your duty to help stimulate the economy and you need to let your wife know this. Heck, tell her since you are so nice you may split the check with her I know I am looking at a lighting upgrade for my nano.

Hey all! I am wondering what you guys think would be a good choice in Halide lighting for my appx 15 gallon nano tank (16" wide). I currently have the JBJ nano PC lighting over it and would like to upgrade so I can eventually grow the hard corals and maybe a small clam. Thoughts? Recommendations? I was thinking the vipor light - clip on 150w. Are there any 'combo' halide lights with PC's that are out there that may fit? Thanks in advance -Mark

I fed the tank last night and tested for Ammonia 6 hours later and this morning - no sign of any ammonia. Nitrites were null as well. I think I'm ready to add an easy coral or two to the tank!

I still didn't have a cop assigned to my H.S. full time There is WAY more gang activity on the westside than 20-25 years ago.
