1. opps sorry I was bouncing around and didnt realise I was on the for sale post!
2. Good to see it open up, these are a little tough to keep since they feed on plankton. I'll post a pic of mine it had it about 3 months doing good so far
3. I have some clove polyp and capnella you can have, also a small colt(tree) coral
4. I might take you up on I'll send you some pics I may need some advice on packing and assume they need to go overnight steve
5. This happened like overnight, I had just photographed it a while ago because it was getting its blue color back on the branches growing towards the light, but I will check Thanks
6. everything test OK, strange thing there no pieces on the rocks from the missing branchs
7. Always had good luck with maxijets, have some years old that i still use for water changes etc. Also tried on of the mods they came out with on a 1200 it was like putting a outboard motor in the sank, it sucked air from 4" down!. might try a 900 or 600 again
8. The pic is not very good (left my Rebel at work) but you can see the coral in the back, all the tips are gone. The branches to the left both had about 5 sprouts 1/2" long at the top. Ita about a year old started from a small frag, I have a long spined urchin and another spiked urchin(different) but have never had any problems with coral!!. I looked them both up and they say they are grazers and meat eaters. I know i have a fire worm but its the type that eats food not coral. Nothing elase in the tank has been bothered
9. Did the same had a old skimmer that already had the two holes threaded so I mounted a small pond pump also had the large return hole at the bottom to use as a fill so I dont have to take off the top to add kalk
10. i'v been looking into remote web cams, would like to put it on a stand in front of my tank when i leave and view it online. just checking prices right now looks like 100.00 and up for wireless with software maybe we could set up a site and then use the chat for long distance members
11. Didnt mean it that way first time I set up my tank i didnt allow for water flow thru the rock and a few other learning curves that led to thick hair algae(2"-3") deep in the rock pretty much covering everything
12. Very nice, like the way you stacked the rock I like to be able to see front to back thru out the rock. learned my lesson the hard way not to pile it up. let me know if you are up in port i'll frag a few sps for you
13. Thanks to all that put this together today, enjoyed my first meeting very much. good to meet the folks behind the screen names, Bob Fenner was entertaining and informative. I've spent many an hour on Wetweb Media and have used the forums with a quick and helpful response from the "Crew" Thanks again Steve
14. Check out the specs On marine depot or neptunes website I think you can hook up more equip in like the additional modules for wet floor sensor, etc. I remember reading some of the add ons and they say "aqua 3 and pro" but im not sure. You may want to add modules in the future
15. I bought the Aqua controller III in Feb, so far everything has worked very well and have added to it (as $ permits). I got the III because or the ethernet hookup and the expandability of the unit, also have the software program. I have a dyn.dns address and can moniter, access and modify the programs via the internet when traveling also has the email alarm if things go south. The support has been very good from Neptune and you can find most info quickly on RC Be Prepared! Your tank may not be as perfect as you think mine certainly was NOT I am now the proud owner of 2 PH probes and a Hanna ph meter as I could not believe the PH readings I was getting when I hooked up the controller
16. I have a few pieces, some acro, small birds nest, couple of others I'll post some pics before the meeting would lioke to trade for some xenia Right now I'm enjoying my fathers day gift, my wife got me the lunar lights (5) and the module for the aqua controller, pretty awsome shimmer just like MH

Very nice tank, welcome. I had the same question I would like to frag my monti, how did you start it on the back wall?
18. I used aragonite sand first few years it disolves fast, but you will have to dump the chamber about every six months as the fine particles collect at the bottom and clog the chamber. I switched to Caribsea ARM the first of this year and it seems to work well
19. POTM The first one I call "stuck again" Finger Leather
