Calcium reactor How large of a aquarium will this calcium reactor dose. Looks small in pictures.

Delete this thread I thought $175 was a great deal and I would get reasonable offers, but I don't need a $100 pump for this set up. I might sell the stand and parts later and get close to the asking price. Thanks for the offers.

Welcome newbee There are some pretty nice smaller systems, that with halide lighting, look as good as larger systems. Only problem with small systems is you can only put a few small fish in them, because larger fish will foul the water quickly and make you do more water changes. Welcome again.

Welcome This is one fast newbee. Your thread is like you have done this before. Nick is cool to deal with and he will take care of you. One question on your set up is I could not see what supported the tank. I hope the tank is not sitting on the overhang of the counter. Tanks full of water,rock,corals ect. are very heavy. Nice start.

Panasonic? It goes to show you do not need a $2000 SLR camera to get $2000 pictures. The pictures in this post should prove that. These are P.O.T.M. quality to me. With a Panasonic at that.

Skimmer only Yeah, I want the skimmer if big enough and you didnt clean it with copper (not). The sump is a little smaller than I want, and if I can't find a bigger one here I will section off a hundred gallon 5 ft. tank and get a large fuge section. Thanks Mark

I have a Oceanic 29 gallon Bio Cube Tank and Stand. Story is I did not like the filtration of a stock Bio Cube, so I gutted the rear filterbox all the way across. I bought the overflow box and bulkheads to do a loop system and was going to put a sump in the bottom of the cabinet. Now I am going to do a 210 gallon system and do not want two projects. For $175 I will sell this project and will include= Tank, Stand, with both ballast and adapter for moonlights(All Work) Stock Pump, Scwd, Heater, Overflow box, Hydor flo deflector, mag float, oceanic skimmer for Bio Cubes, lockline, and bulkheads. If you have a sump and return pump, and drill the tank for bulkheads this will be a sweet system. PM any questions and I am not going to part out. Might trade for a Protein skimmer or a 1200 + GPH external pump. (This is all going to Nick at Rose City Aquarium)

Nice stuff OBO Nobody needs a nice 125 gal. tank and stand. I might do trades up to the value of this set up. Needs for my 210 include a co2 tank and reg. I have a calcium reactor, but it's hokey. Chiller, A larger tank to make a sump (acrylic or glass) 5ft wide max. or a 40 gal drilled for a fuge then a smaller sump would work in a combo. I have the Tank, Stand, Lighting and am looking to sell this set up to finish my new set up. And Merry Christmas Everybody and have a safe and Happy New Year to all. Mark

need lower calcium? I think you should use Winco salt. That will work for sure. Trust me. What's up?

Try it An easy way to figure this out, mix a tankful of Winco salt water, put a nice Black tang into the water, and cry for starting this thread.

vacation Hope you have a water topper to cover evaporation, so your salt levels don't get too high.

What is the dif. between a ASM G2 and G3 I need a larger skimmer for my 210 build so I see the two in the classifieds, so which one is the better for my set-up. Thanks.

Pump too small I traded my mag 12 yesterday, but if you can find a pump as good, it will work on your system. Mark

Tank build Hey what up. Are you doing a internal, or external pump? I put the bulkhead in reverse in the sump so it would not hit or snag on anything while transporting. Good looking build, mine is in limbo until after the holidays. Good luck.
