  1. Thanks for the info Roy. I will do a wc tonight. Early this morning before work it looked to still be alive and reacting to me walking by the tank, so hopefully I have a chance.

  2. Ok so I got a sweet squamosa clam yesterday from JonBoy (thanks man!), got it in the tank once we got home last night, seemed to be doing just fine, and today when I got home from work it started shooting its whiteish fluids every couple of minutes or so. Its been doing it now for about 30-40 minutes. I am assuming this is it spawning, likely due to the stress from the move. The water doesn't seem to be cloudy, skimmer is doing its thing, all other corals seem lie their usual happy selves.

Question is, should I do anything (more or less flow, turn off the lights, water change, etc) or just let it 'finish' for lack of a better term? I do not have any other clams in the tank, and have it in pretty low flow as is. Salinity is right where I usually run it, and I am going to go check the rest of the parameters right now to make sure everything is on par for where it usually is.

I grabbed a video of it...

  3. There is a patch. It's been there from the previous owner and was put on there properly. Holds water great, no leaks whatsoever. I've had water in the tank for quite some time, and wouldn't sell it of I thought it would have any problems, but like I said it is sitting full right now so potential buyers are more than welcome to have a look and inspect it all before they buy.

  4. You wouldn't happen to be coming to the meeting in Salem on the 24th are you? I'm interested but not quite sure how to get it

I am coming to the meeting, but will be coming down with the family so I won't have room in the car to bring the tank.

  5. Just like the title reads. I have a used 90g acrylic tank, no stand, just sitting in the garage taking up space. I have it filled with water for whoever wants to come have a look at it and take it home. Tank is euro braced, has a corner overflow, bowed front corners, black acrylic back, minimal scratches for a used tank, and I have an acrylic polish kit that will come with the tank if you want it. Great dimensions, I just dont have any plans on setting up another tank any time in the near future.

Need to get what I paid for it, which was $150.

I am available in Longview whenever ya want to meet up. I wont be able to transport the tank, so ya gotta come get it!

I have a variety of all corals in the tank now, including SPS that are doing great. Everything seems real happy, and I can see growth on everything, very exciting. Running out of real estate, so now I will probably just be letting things fill in and grow out, and try not to tamper with things as often (placement, etc). I plan on getting some sort of wrasse, and a small tang (to keep the algae picked clean if any comes up). The only other fish I have in the tank right now is a mandarin that is loving all of the space to himself. For flow I have a mp10 on one end, and I have been playing around adding my mp40 to the other end, but it seems to be having some little issues I will need to get worked out before I put it on there long-term.
