1. The wrasse is sold. Apart from it, I have a blue hippo tang, yellow tang and bangai cardinal left. There are some various inverts in the tank, a few pep shrimp, serpent star, crabs, snails. For coral, I lost a bunch a while back. I have some softies left. Kenya trees, toadstools and a few dozen mushrooms of about four different types.
2. I have decided that my time is up. Really just not paying attention to the tank anymore and not giving it the attention that it needs. This is a turn-key setup. It has everything you need to get up and running. Looking to sell as a package right now, not parting out. It is a 90 gallon custom tank from Envision with a semi-rimless setup. You can see what that means from the pics. I just hate seeing the water line in rimless tanks, so I decided to build an open-top, semi rimless tank. With the sump and refugium, the total system volume is around 90+75+45 = 210 gallons. The whole setup is about 3 years old. Here is a list of the equipment that is included (most of it has the original boxes): - 90 gallon custom Envision cube. Has the BeanAnimal overflow setup, external. Black back. - Custom furniture-grade stand and canopy made from first quality maple. Stained black. - 75 gallon glass sump - drilled for return pump - 45 gallon glass refugium - drilled with redundant drains to drain to sump - 15 gallon top of tank - drilled to be quick drained to sump, if needed - 15 gallon saltwater change tank - SKIMZ SM 202 Monzter E-Series - External Protein Skimmer w/MJ feed pump (Purchased Jan 2014) - 2 Reef Breeders Photon16 LED lights w/hanging kit (Purchased Jan 2014) (I think the ramp up to only about 65%) - Vortec MP-40W ES - Reeflo Dart Hybrid pump - Can be a dart or a snapper by changing the impeller (return pump) - Two eductors on the returns to help with flow. - 2 TLF reactors with MJ 600 feed pumps - Bulk Reef Supply RO/DI setup - BRS RO/DI booster pump - AutoTopOff.com auto top off system with solenoid - (2) MJ 1200s with propeller kits (1 for mixing kalkwasser in top off, the other for mixing new water) - Sybon Refractometer - (5) Eheim heaters - Ranco 1 stage temp Controller with temp Probe - (3) American DJ Power Strips - tons of plumbing and valves, etc. - box of Kent Sea Salt to get you started - Test kits for everything you need - Enough home-made seafood mash to feed them for a year - over 200 pounds of live rock between the tank and fuge - (2) 40 gallon Brute cans drilled with valve, 1 with float valve for water changes, etc. Here is the Livestock in the tank right now: - Yellow Tang (4") - Blue Hippo Tang (4") - Bangai Cardinal (2") - Matted Filesfish (2") - he lives in the refugium, haven't seen him in a while -A few peppermint shrimp (1-7, not sure how many) - various snails, crabs, - tons of caulerpa - various mushrooms, leathers and soft corals and other corals. Huge GSP Covered rock I am asking $2500 for all of it. The tank and stand alone set me back about $1300. The SKIMZ was another $530 and the LEDS were another $630. Those three pieces pretty much cover the cost of the tank. Add in the vortech, various other tanks, heaters, reeflo ranco, etc, and this is at least $4500 in equipment alone. The Sump room that you see in the pics was designed such that it can be removed from my garage in more or less one piece. It is fully epoxy-lined ($500+) and water proof. It has a drain and a vent to exhaust the air. If you are interested in that, we can work something out. Looking to sell as a package right now, not parting out. 3. I have a lunare Wrasse that I need to sell. Happy, healthy fish. Never bothered any inverts. I am selling because I am going to be taking my tank down to move or sell and he's the first fish I caught. He's about 5-6 inches. $15. Located in Washougal.
4. (clap)(clap)(clap)(clap)
5. Here are some pics:
6. Actually its a bit more, but hard to say. At 50ft across (confirmed), and assuming 3ft of depth, I get 5,890 cubic feet....at 7.5 gallons per cubic foot, I am at around 44,000 gallons. But, I know its deeper than 3 ft. None of us have ventured in to the middle, but just 10ft in, it was already to my son's belly button and he is 5ft. tall. ohh, and we are on five acres...got a pond and a creek - very nice setup. I'll try to post some pics.
7. One of the two sharks from seahorse, Spartacus, jumped out of the tank about six months ago. It happened in the middle of the night and they did not find him till morning. He limped along for a while, but died later that day. Hope that wasn't yours and hate to be the bearer of bad news. And, yes cayes does have a nurse shark. Brutus, I think is his name. Very sad looking fish. Just lays there in the tank, can barely turn around. Its horrifying to be honest. I feel truly bad for that animal. I think he is well over 3 feet...probably closer to four. The tank is only an 8 footer, I believe and not more than 2 ft. wide. Sad.
8. If you change your mind - I have a 40,000 gallon pond at my house that he would do quite nicely in. Its 50ft. in diameter and about 3 feet deep. Lots of plant and cover. We have a couple hundred goldfish in there now, so he would be right at home.
9. I'm in too....loved the stuff I got last time. PM Sent.
10. That nem looks perfectly happy to me. Its a good sign when they open up like that. It means that they are happy in their spot. I have GBTA with purple tips. The tips were bright vibrant purple in the store, but it was more closed up. After a bit in my tank, the purple has faded a bit because it is so much more open than before. It has grown by about 10 times in size and I have fed it maybe 5 times in 7 months. His clown feeds him sometimes too, but only for the last two months. Don't rush to feed them unless you want them to get huge. After its been in the tank, give it a feeding and then just keep an eye on it. Ohhh and a couple days after you feed, you might notice it shriveling up to like 1/20th of its size. Don't worry, its just pooping. When it does, it will have crazy vibrant colors though.
11. Its a drive, since its in seattle, but looks like a good deal: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/for/3112504666.html
12. I have tried to got there a half dozen times or so in the past 3 months. Never found them open. They never answered their phone either. I was heading to Rose City, so no biggie. I finally gave up on them and the last couple of times I was down there, I didn't even bother.
13. Galaxy ballast sold last night. I can meet near PDX most any weekday around lunch.

17. Galaxy ballast sold. Lumen Max Elite still for sale 250W Lumen Max Elite MH reflector with a mogul socket. Brand new in box. $80
18. I got one of these. Brand new condition, barely used. I'd do $100. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/protein-skimmers/bubble-magus-protein-skimmer/bubble-magus-bm-nac3-protein-skimmer.html
19. Mine took about 6 months...then, ya, as racefan pointed out one day he brushed it and seemed to like it. Now they are all snuggles all the time. We even named the clown "Timmy" after the southpark character. He would just do laps of the tank night and day, then he found a cave-ish nook in the rock and seemed to be hosting there....funny thing is that it was right next to the nem, about 6 inches away and when he was in his nook, he was looking right at the nem..."Timmy" seemed to fit. One day, it all just clicked for him.
20. I've got one of these. Barely used and in like-new condition. $100 http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/protein-skimmers/bubble-magus-protein-skimmer/bubble-magus-bm-nac3-protein-skimmer.html
