  1. Selling my Reef Octopus DNW 200 Recirc. Great skimmer. In great condition and ready to go http://www.thereefstop.com/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=899 $175
  2. I am going to be taking him to his new home this weekend...
  3. Sold refractometer and two of the Lumenarc set ups.
  4. http://cgi.ebay.com/45mm-Diamond-tipped-drill-bit-bits-hole-saw-dewalt-tile_W0QQitemZ120518139784QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item1c0f70df88 I have ordered from this guy three times. Always got exactly what I paid for, always fast service, always good communication. Took about a week to get the saw out of Hong Kong. With my most worn one, I did about 15 holes, 8 or so of them in 1/2 inch glass before it was too worn to use anymore. And for $8.99 shipped, you can't go wrong!
  5. Ya, I totally should have researched market prices, instead of trying to remember what I saw them going for. DOH! That'll teach me to try to get something like this done quickly at work.
  6. It is, but still waiting on the puffer to find a home...there are two or three people in line already...if you like I can add you to the list.
  7. Total age, I honestly don't know. I bought it used on RC about a year ago and have never used it. I did verify that it works. The previous owner had just installed a new impeller and volute on it right before selling it, which is apparent when you see it in person. Sorry I could not be more help.
  8. NEW PRICES ARE IN BLUE So, I realized last night after looking on RC that a lot of my stuff was priced ridiculously high. Most notable the OM 4-way. Holy moly I had that thing at a crazy price. My apologies to all who saw my last post - my overpricing was not done on purpose. So, here is what is left, with new prices. If you see something you like, make me a reasonable offer. If I still have something overpriced, let me know and I will look into it. I am not trying to take advantage of anyone. After this weekend, much of this will be listed on RC. Some of the equipment listed will have to wait until I can give away my porky puffer. There is an ad for him here: http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=14973 I have noted what equipment I cannot sell until he is safe in a new home. (its the stuff that says "puffer" after the price) All equipment is working, unless otherwise noted. Please email me at nc.1 0 9 7 8 5@gmail.com (just take the spaces out of the numbers). Or you can PM here. 9. Another bump...couple of close calls but nothing serious yet
  10. I put it in Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor. About $40 online. You can find used ones for aroun $20-30. Check out bulk reef supply .com
  11. It sounds to me like you may have hooked your RCA connections into a component video jack on the TV. Did you plug your yellow, red and white plugs into yellow, red and white outlets on the tv, or were they teal, pinkish and light blue? I did it once by mistake and got exactly what you describe for picture. Also, get the PS3 for your wife if she wants it. Just use your imagination and get her something romantic too. It can be smaller. With my wife, at least, its the thought that counts.
  12. Bumping this from way back. Still trying to find my boy a home. Anyone?
  13. Try this place. Its down off of front street in PDX, near the industrial area. Not super convenient, but really cheap....huge bags of peanuts are like $5 - 10 and they have a ton of different sizes of surplus boxes. http://www.cartononline.com/
  14. So, I have a 10 inch porky puffer and I am thinking he might need a new home. Right now he is in my 120G sump (there are no baffles, so he has all 120G to himself. I was gonna keep him, and have been holding on to him along with my blue hippo tang, until I could get my new tank built. Problem is that I was only ever gonna put the tang in the 155, but keep hanging on to Puffy until I could get his own tank set up (i have a 150 waiting in the wings). Heres my dilema: Puffy just ate my tang (sounds like something J-Lo has said before(clap)). Now, I am faced with not having a system for him, and not having time to build out the 150. We know we are moving next year, so even finishing the 155 build is getting sketchy, let alone the 150 that was gonna be fowlr. If I could find the right person; and I mean RIGHT as in good husbandry, confidence he won't end up traded at some pet store, and the desire to care for him long term, I could let him go so he could enjoy a family again. I would need to see your system and know your history before I let him go. I don't need any money for him - it just kinda seems wrong. However, all should know that I am not desperate and not just gonna give him away, so please be prepared to show me that you can take care of him long term. He is about 5 years old and, again, about 10 inches long. Great personality. He loves people and of course, loves the tang (drooler).
  15. Why was the mushroom invited to all the parties? He was a real fungi

  17. ya, ended up being $10 with shipping....kind of insulting to think $10 for six screws, but in the grand scheme of things; its only $10 and it gets my OM working better than before, since the new screws are stainless instead of plastic
  18. thanks guys. I already emailed Paul. He is such a standup guy. $5 for the new stainless screws. I will just go that route. I was hoping to find something local to be done with it quicker, but stainless from the OEM is niiiice.
  19. My tank is made of silica too, so I am not too worried, but thanks for the concern?
  20. I do, but its in there curing with my LR. It moves from the waves (around 35x turnover), but when I open more outlets on my CL it settles down just fine. Looks like a molded substrate, its that fine. Not sure about a vid, my Camcorder is a bit older and I have to run it through software which is a PITA to get things saved. It has formed nice dunes from the CL......I will try to get a pic tomorrow for you
