  1. You must be thinking of another member, I just moved here from California. I did have a pretty decent reef tank, but will probably go with FOWLR this time.
  2. Online shipping is too much, anyone know any place local that sells bulkheads? Vancouver / Portland / Hillsboro area
  3. I got a 210 but it was the one with the dual megaflows. Will be starting a thread on it. It will be an Inwall setup.
  4. Starting to plan my in wall 210 gallon tank. I'm looking for a used cheap glass or acrylic sump. Maybe size range from 20 gallon to 75 gallon. send me a pm on what you got. thanks in advance
  5. thanks nyles. Do you know if the tank will come with the bulkheads installed? I assume it doesn't since the kit says it comes with the bulkheads.
  6. Nyles: Do you know what size the drain and returns are?
  7. I think for an extra $50 for megaflows is a good deal. Does anyone know what size bulkheads are needed for the megaflows (210gallon size)? I think i read somewhere it was 1" drain & 3/4" return for each mega flow. Can someone confirm?
  8. Called and confirmed that it will be AGA tanks only. They also have free hotdogs from 12-3pm. :D Sale starts 11am
  9. Does anyone know if AGA can custom drill holes for the tank you purchase? Or doe they only sell the Reef Ready tanks only?
  10. Sweet, I've been planning on a 210 & for $450 that is a good deal. Thanks for posting. Does anyone know if this shop deals with AGA? Since I think AGA are really good quality.
  11. I forgot to ask, where is your refugium? or are you going to run a separate tank?
  12. Make sure the skimmer section is the right height for your particular skimmer. Also, i think it is important that your return section (where your return pump is) is as big as you can make it, due to evaporation if you make it too small you will constantly need to fill with water. If it is large you will not need to top off as often. If you have an auto top off this would not matter.
  13. This is a retro fit system that will fit under most canopies/hoods. Includes Ballast with separate switches, 1 spider reflector & 1 ordinary reflector, moguls, long plugs & a pair of timers. Will also include 2 14k coral vue bulbs (used 3 months) & 1 10k Ushio bulb (used for 4 months). Need to confirm right brand of bulbs (been in storage for a while). Selling for $225 Located in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver of the 205/5 freeway. send me a PM if any questions.
  14. Your PM Box is full. How the condition of the glass? Are there any major scratches? I would like to check it out today on my way home from work. Where in Vancouver are you? Please PM me your address so a can mapquest it. Thanks
  15. Anyone know if these AGA tanks are tempered? I was planning on getting a 55gallon and drilling the back for drain/returns.
  16. I got some as well, I'm located in salmon creek. This is a good diy mod.
  17. Is it still available? I sent you a PM.
  18. Interested in 1 of the 55 gallon tanks. How far are you from Vancouver (205/5 freeway)?
  19. Also, does anybody have any experience of having a reef tank running in the garage? Such as temp fluctuations during the cold winter months? The summer is pretty mild, so I'm mainly worried about the winter months. My garage and garage door are insulated so keeping the garage between 50-60 degrees shouldn't be a problem.
  20. I was thinking of starphire and might go that route. I prefer to go with a local builder though.
  21. Thanks for the quick reply guys. I am planning on glass, do we have any local glass tank builders? Also what stores are worth checking out that has lots of Saltwater Gear? I am new to the area and have not been to any LFS.
  22. Looking to have a LFS special order a 210 gallon (72X24X29) or 240 gallon (72X24X31) reef tank. Any suggestions on which stores sells them for a reasonable price? This will be used for an InWall Reef Tank. Thanks in advance, Jay R
