  8. Is the bottle aluminum or steel?
  9. Large 7" Adult 6 bar angelfish with beautiful markings, active and just looking for a larger tank. He has a few scratches on the top of his head due to the small tank. Asking $80 or trade for an juvenile Emperor Angelfish. This guy is huge so make sure to bring a bucket and take him home today!
  10. Hi Alex, You can put me down for the next round of splits. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  11. While at MAX I met a fello that had a bubble tip go through his power head opening morning. The water was cloudy and all his corals were pissed off. A few hours later I walked by his booth again and the tank looked crystal clear with just small pieces of bubble tip on the bottom of the tank. I asked him what he did to clear up the water so quick which he replied that Blue Life had given him a container of Clear Fx Pro and a filter sock and all he did was through it in the back of the tank. Needless to say I was impressed so I grabbed a container to try. I have noticed very similar results with no ill effects. I was also impressed at the little residue that washed off the carbon in the pre wash. If you have thought about trying this product I would highly recommend doing so. Plus the owner is really cool so you would be helping her out! Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  12. Maybe the vendors could be out front and the party could remain in the backyard? Might be more room for the vendors out front as well if several want to setup tables. Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
  13. Yup just one. They are rated to cover a 2'x2' footprint which the tank is. I don't remember any dark sections at 8" above the water. It's currently running at 100% intensity at 14k with great polyp extension on the sand bed. Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
  14. Keeping an eye on this thread. Just picked up my first LED fixture after reading and seeing great result from those that have been using them for some time. So far I have been impressed but its a little early to tell.
  15. I say keep it the same. It was a blast to hang out and meet new faces and free stuff is always welcomed. As for a theme or agenda, your tank is more then enough to keep me entertained. Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
  16. Wow it looks like it has come together nicely. Nice work Doug! Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
  17. Found this one after doing a search. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-16-BLACK-Styrene-24x24-4-pcs-Vacuum-Form-Plastic-/330568362605?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf768ea6d It says FDA approved and that they are commonly used in the production of lids for coffee cups. Same company as the other link but this product only seems to be listed via their eBay page. Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah that would be a concern of mine as well but I'm wondering if its the same stuff that's in a few of my older tanks? It looks like the same stuff even down to the ripples on the one side. I'm wondering what's in the plastic that would make it "not food safe"? Any ideas? Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
  19. Try this link then. http://www.widgetworksunlimited.com/1_16_Black_ABS_24x24_Thermoform_Plastic_Pack_p/vf-24x24-abs-black-060.htm Looks like it may work.
  20. Is the black plastic going inside or out of the captive fuge? If on the outside then you could use laminent from Home Depot. They sell it in full 4x8 sheets or 2x4 sheets which would be perfect for your project. If its going on the inside you may may want to make sure there is no toxins that would leech off the laminent. 21. I've seen the tank and it seems like the right dimensions to be a 125gal Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
  22. Great thread. This is exactly what I am planning on doing with my 29gal Nano using very similar materials. Thanks for the post!
