  1. I have three mantis shrimp in right now. One came in as a peacock, but I am not 100% sure that it is, Still observing him. He is in a tank with a clown trigger. They get along great. They have a mutual agreement, and are living peacefully together. The second mantis is a Odontodactylus Havanensis. The third has not been identified as of yet. Nick
  2. Time to upgrade and get rid of your canister filter!
  3. Is that the algae you got from me? Ours has been growing like crazy in our refugium. Bryan started that algae from a 2" frag. I have never had any problems with that algae. Nick
  4. I have a few green pipe organ here at the shop for a few years now. No one has ever asked about it.
  5. I mix #1 and #3 aragonite. The sugar size sand blows around too much for me. I just got a bag of "pearl beach" sand from seachem. I have not tried it yet, but I have heard good things about it.
  6. My copperband butterfly eats them in my tank
  7. That might be true, but they jump out of the tank when they see you...
  8. They are great fish! They change color when any other fish comes near them. Like any tilefish, they are great jumpers. Definitely need to cover the tank. They go great with gudgeons and other peaceful fish. They like to hide alot here at the shop.
  9. +1 on Dictyota. I always laugh when I hear the name of that algae.
  10. Sea swirls are great!!! I always try to buy the 1" sea swirls when purchasing one. No problem using them for your return. Much cheaper then a large vortech. I am working on building a better "sea swirl," with one of my friends right now. We have a prototype. Should be much better then a seaswirl. Nick
  11. If anybody else has any animals they are going to flush or kill, I would like to have a chance at saving them first. Every animal in the ocean is extremely interesting to me regardless if it eats corals or not.
  12. Actually a very interesting animal to observe in a small nano. I really enjoyed watching the one I had. I kept him in a small container, People were very surprised when I would show them how long he actually was.
  13. They look great! Nice work on the tank setup, sweet system! The horses love each other.
  14. That is a glorious animal, not a "pile of crap." I will take him off your hands. I had a 4' long worm here at the shop. The kids love to pet him.
  15. Can't you tell your vet it is for a dog? Does it really matter if it is for a dog, hamster, or fish? I also asked my vet to let me fill prescriptions they write for my dogs at a local drug store where the medicine is usually 75% less then what the vet charges.
  16. The vet is the source where I purchase mine from.
  17. I use the marineland automatic timer. I have not had a problem with them in two years, they also have a splash resistant cover, but I have not used the cover. And No they are not free Roger.
  18. I've been wondering for awhile if these bright yellow gonioporas that have been coming in are food colored or not? I have seen some extremely bright ones.
  19. meteor shower definitely does better under the 250 watt radiums then under 400 watt radiums for me. indirect lighting low to med flow. turns yellow under the 400w 10k hqi's but grows fastest. They don't take long to color back up once they turn brown when I put them on the side of the tank indirect light the 250w radiums. They pop under the actinic. one of my fastest growing and favorite corals. Glorious cyphastrea
  20. The brackets I have are for trading of nice coral only
  21. I do, but last time I lent you some calibration fluid, I never saw you again.
