I hatch a pinch of baby brine shrimp in a small cup every day, they hatch in 12 hours. I then mix with frozen brine and frozen coral food mix. Slowly ween them off the live food, over a couple of weeks. I have had great success this way. Mandarins can definitely get ich, I have seen them covered in it before, although not very often.

My friend has two leopard blennies. He buys all my pocillopora to feed them!

They usually eat sponge, tunicate, or something that resembles their color and shape. Extremely hard to keep.

If it gets out of hand you can always put a leopard blenny in your tank, pocillopora is one of their main diets

I have pocillopora spawn a few times in my tank and start new mini colonies.

I have also built a temporary rock wall around the anemone, in the spot you want the anemone to stay. Once they attach themselves, I remove the rest of the rock.

I used to keep my hydrometers in a bucket of ro-di water when not in use. That kept them calibrated for me. I only trust the refractometers now. you an use my refractometer if your in the neighborhood. Nick

I have received feather dusters out of their tubes in the bag. I slip them back in and they usually crawl back in. They will also grow a new tube.

Sounds like they had a parasite. I would quarantine them first before adding to them to your reef.
