  1. Is it solid red? Does it have any green in it? Dennis
  2. You get the Red Sea brand Deluxe 50mg ozonizer setup including, ozonizer with ORP probe (ALWAYS kept wet, has NEVER been dried out.), Rechargeable 500 gram air dryer (about 1 month old), about 6' or so of ozone proof tubing and a Dolphin air pump. I've had the unit for about 3 years or so and it has worked FLAWLESSLY. Even includes a JG valve for plugging into your skimmer's airline intake. Easy to setup and dial in, makes a HUGE improvement in the oxidation of organics in a reef or fish only tank. Selling all for $200 firm. Email me at dennis4679@comcast.net if you you're interested. You pickup at my house in Fairview/Gresham area or I can meet ya halfway somewhere. Thanks Dennis PS: Please pay no attention to my duct taped rx bottle attached to the end of the ORP probe. It is just on there to keep the probe wet.
  3. For sale is 4 pair of standoffs for VHO endcaps. These are brand new, never used. Retail for $6 a pair. All 4 pair for $10.00. Email me if you're interested; dennis4679@comcast.net. Thanks Dennis
  4. I am offering for sale an almost, plug and play Korallin calcium reactor setup. You get; Korallin C1502 calcium reactor, CO2 bottle (over half full), CO2 regulator with solinoid and precision needle valve, almost enough Knop reactor media to completely fill reactor, two month old Aqualifter pump to feed reactor and about 7' or so of CO2 proof tubing. This reactor is excellent working order and does not leak water or CO2. Very efficient use of CO2 with a 5lb bottle lasting me for over 8 months on a fully stocked, 125gal, SPS tank with a pretty big T. gigas clam. The reactor does not have the CO2 check valve on it since it seemed to work better without it and I had a solinoid valve to protect the CO2 tank from backflow. I dont know what I did with the valve and so it is not included. Thats it. Please email me if you are interested in buying the whole package for $285.00 firm. Im willing to meet someone half way to deliver since I live out in the Gresham area. If no one wants it here, I will put it on ReefCentral but I'de rather sell it here since I cant ship the CO2 tank. Please email me at dennis4679@comcast.net if you are interested. Thanks Dennis PS: Im going to be downsizing my tank next month to a 39gal Cadlights setup so, there is going to be LOTS of top end equipment comming up for sale soon. Stay tuned.
  5. Thanks but, I just went ahead and ordered one. Thanks anyways though. Dennis
  6. Hello, Im looking to see if anyone local has a seriel cable to attach the Neptune Aqua Controller Junior to a computer. All I need to do is a quick firmware update. It needs to be the cable that hooks in to the temp socket on the acjr. The fitting on the line is like that of a telephones. Then the other end goes into a seriel port on the puter. This is for the older (about 3 years old) ACjr units. I think the cable for the newer ones doesnt fit. I dont really want to by one from neptune just to do a one time firmware upgrage. Thanks Dennis
  7. Quite the difference from the cheap, flimsy first printing of the book. Looks nice. Dennis
  8. Hey Ron...those zoas sound NICE! Are ya up for some trading??(nutty)(laugh) Dennis
  9. Post some pics after you get them. Im interested to see what ya got. Nice score!! Brown outs are always fun! Dennis
  10. I got my acjr back when they were first introduced. I think their promotional offer was the base unit (back lit) and a DC8 for about $150. Dennis
  11. Well that was short and sweet. Tank is tentatively sold. Dennis
  12. For sale is a 2 year old, 125gal, acrylic Tricon tank. It is 48"Lx24"Wx25"T. It has a built in corner overflow. The back is drilled for a closed loop with holes for 2, 1.5" intakes and 3, 3/4 returns. I also ran two 3/4" seaswirls off of it and powered it with a dart pump. Below pic is of the closed loop when the tank was first set up. Worked out very well. The tank is sitting on my patio (covered) and it still has the sand in it. If some one wants to come and pick it up for $100, it's yours. If nobody wants it, then I will clean the sand out myself and pretty it up a bit and re list it for $225. This tank was $700 from UpScales just two years ago. I also have two 3/4" seaswirls and 2 month old Sequence Dart pump for sale also. Im looking for $175 for the Dart pump and $70 each for the swirls. Please dennis4679@comcast.net email me if interested. Thanks Dennis
  13. Actually, I already have a rainbow acan. Im changing out tanks this weekend and probably shouldnt be adding new corals. It's a beautiful piece and I'm sure you will find it a good home. Dennis
  14. Hey Bob, Im interested in your acan or is it a favia? Either way, I would like to trade for it. What in particular are you looking for???? You can pm me if you want. Dennis
  15. Ordered 4, 24", URI brand SuperActinicR bulbs from Marine depot and now I don't need them. They will be arriving tomorrow. I don't really want to pay shipping to send them back (cost me an extra $20 as it was.). They list on their site for $17 each, not including shipping AND the extra $20 for oversize. I will sell them for $17 each if someone is interested. Saves me a little money having to send them back. Please email me at dennis4679@comcast.net if you're interested. I would ship them if you want to pay the actual shipping. Thanks Dennis
  16. Definitely another vote for buy new sand. Been there...done that...it sucked. Dennis
  17. Dr. Mac seems to have some good prices on Australian stuff. Maybe you should check his stuff out. http://www.pacificeastaquaculture.com/ShowProductCategory.aspx?CategoryId=2 The page takes a while to load but scroll all the way down and the acans are down there. Dennis
  18. Schnazberry??????? There's no such thing as schnazberry!! Dennis
  19. IMO, purchasing a fish or coral that typically lives in the ocean and confining it to tiny box of water, is pretty much a crap shoot anyways. Why should the retailers have to take the hit on a fish that YOU picked out, dieing in YOUR tank? Maybe if the customer buys the tank, all equipment and maintainence contracts from the same lfs, they could offer a two week guarantee on your livestock. Two week guarantee huh.......if it dies on day 15, you're satisfied?(scratch) I don't think two weeks makes for a healthy fish. JMO. Dennis
  20. Ya...it is a $240.00 pump but, it needs work which I dont really feel comfortable doing. I dont want any more floods then absolutly necessary!!! Ah well....I feel comfortable with the sale (not rippin the guy off)and he seems comfortable with the sale also so....it was worth whatever the small monitary difference may be IMO. Dennis
  21. Yep...It sold. Guess it was priced too good! It sold in less than 10 minutes! Dennis
  22. I live in the Gresham area and have this pump for sale. Pick it up local and avoid shipping. If interested, email me at dennis4679@comcast.net. Here is the link to the ad on ReefCentral: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1213510 Thanks Dennis
