Alk?? Hey Shawn, What salt are you using?? I've had problems with alk and the problem was the salt brand I was useing. If you have water made up, test the alk. I've had alk in freshly made water come out at 5 dkh. So no matter how much water you change, the alk is low. If it is low, buff it up with some alk buffer and then do your water changes. When your alk is low in your tank, remember to raise the alk slowly. You don't want to shock your corals. Hope that helps.

not all wrasses are agressive...The six line and eight line are great community fish and keep those FW at bay..

If there the brown flat worms, there not bad like the acro eating FW. There just a pain. To keep them under control throw a six line, eight line wrasse in they'll keep at bay..

The intermatic's are not worth it if your running MH. They can get really hot, even to the touch and can catch fire. SunlightSupply sells a 20amp model for a little more. Brown colonies will color up if conditions are right. However it is a slow process.

If you have your boxes already just go down to Home Depot and buy 3/4 inch styrofoam board. Then you can take a razor blade and cut out liners that fit into the box.

START OVER!! I would save your LE stuff and sell off everthing else. Pluck your rock and let it all die off. Completely start fresh with no hitch hikers. Electric stuff I'd use again, but start over with everything else.

I really like the tile idea!

Play with the Manual setting a little. Being able to adjust things manual seem's to take more time but once your set up is right yoou can click away. Also White Balance is huge. That 105mm is a sweet lens. You'll get some awsome shot's when you get everything tweaked out.
