Ummm. I have 3 of them in my school. Does that mean I also fit in the 120 club? I can post pics later if people are interested. I basically use them for supplying TFT recipients with livestock. I have t-5's on one, 250 radium mogul with vho actinics, and 250 hqi with one t-5 actinic. Quite a variety of light sources. Our own little light experiment.

I go with what Grassi originally stated. Less food, more flow, etc. We also used to siphon off the cyano when it matted up. I would also use a siphon tube on the sand that the cyano is growing on and when the tube fills up with sand, stop the siphon, let the sand settle down and then use the syphon to suck up the detritus/cyano/junk
