I would do a waterchange now to get rid of any nitrates from anything that may have died during the issue.

The Elos calcium test kit is kind of complicated as I recall. I would take a sample of your water to an LFS and ask them to test it for you. How old is the test kit? How big is the sample you are using? And Like some of the others here asked, we really need to know what your KH, and Mg levels are. Have you been dosing any calcium or mg supplement?

I use Kent, but if it were more readily available, i would use Tropic Marine reef salt. It is the best I have ever used. I tried the H2Ocean but it gave me a weird algae outbreak and it didn't mix up very well either. I am going to try the Brightwell as soon as I can get enough people interested in buying another pallet of it!!!
