What is turkey baster?

I have been reading in here and saw several posts talking about using turkey baster to blow off sand on the lr. What else does it use for beside that? If it only good for blowing sand off the rock then I probably stick to my powerhead, it does a fine job (whistle)

You all just answer my next question (clap) I am trying not to stick my hand in the tank to feed my polyps. I tried to used a long pair of chopstick but didn’t work.DOH! I was going to ask “what is the best way to feed your coral?” Now you all did a good job explaining it to me. (clap)Thanks all.(rock2) Is there any turkey blaster over 2 feet long? (Yeah I know, sorry I don’t cook(wife))

Actually yes. You can fit a length of rigid airline tubing in the end of a plastic turkey baster. Use some silicone or hot glue if necessary. It's great for target feeding.

Well crap. Now what am I going to do with all these basters. I did find one that was SS and had a injector that screwed on to the bottom. Works well for marinading that roast!!!!

Im going to buy up hundreds of excess turkey basters and call the "Coral Blasters" and repackage and sell them on ebay.....muahahahaha......(plotting)(plotting)
