sontdo Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 I'm planning to buy a PFO dual ballast 400W to upgrade from 175W ballasts. I have 2 retrokit mogul sockets for SE MH 175W bulbs. Do I have to change new set of mogul base and cord or I can still use the current mogul base for 175W bulbs? Does anyone know? Thanks. R-3 Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Mogul base should be fine. If your previous ballast wasnt a PFO the quick disconnect to the ballast will be different. chewie Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Used ballast is fine. SW-fantaseas sells 400w bulbs for around $80 depending on which bulb you want.
