H20cooled
I just use a pair of pliers and bend them a little, they will snap very easy.
spectra
I use a piar of dikes to cut mine all the time. You will lose one square but you are going to get that know matter what way you go.
Michael7979
I have used the dikes/pliers before but you can just hit them with a screwdriver and they will break off clean in a row. Not the prettiest way but it works.
JManrow
Whats the best way to cut the material that is in the picture? The material is a plastic light diffuser commonly called 'eggcrate". I have found a small pair of wire cutters works best. They fit inside the 1/2" squares, and help make the cutting fast and easy.
siskiou
I recently managed to make nice clean cuts without jagged edges using a hacksaw. Takes a bit longer, but came out perfectly and no cleanup of flying plastic pieces to clean up afterward.
defigart
Thanks everyone. I didn't do any of what you said. Well I kind of did. I used Lineman Pliers. They are almost the same size as the squares. By putting the pliers on the part I was breaking off most of the "little" pieces were kept in the pliers and them placed in the garbage. I used a sanding block to smooth out the small amounts that were left. But I must say "Thank-you" to everyone, because with out the suggestions I wouldn't have come up with my solution.
