Onthejohn
Hello. Attached are pics of this brown algae in my tank. Any help with identification and, more importantly how to get rid of it is greatly appreciated! Thank you! P.S. Chemiclean treatment was ineffective

Algaewarrior
Looks like dinos to me too. Brown snot with bubbles at the end. I've had luck with raising my nitrates and phosphates, putting uv on, and raising the temperature to 80. I've seen some people go to 82 but I didn't feel comfortable going that high.

I thought that at first, but its coming off the corals. I think all LPS can get BJD. Hopefully I'm wrong about it.
youcallmenny
Just a little bit of dinos. You've got some bioavailability in your water column. I find the easiest way to stymie them is just blow them off with a turkey baster every other day. They don't stick the way algae do so it's pretty effective. 1

Yes I read it. Did the obligatory water change (was due) manually removed some. Started dosing neonitro and cut back on lights hours/day.
