Leaking overflow help

First step.. shame the person that did the work.

Next step, remove, set at an angle and squeeze weldon 16 at the top of the seam and let it run down.  You want about a 30 degree angle for optimum flow.  WO 16 is essentially liquid acrylic.  Or if you want to drive up to hockinson, Rick jones and I are building a sump on saturday and we can hook you up.  Should be dry enough by the evening to re-install

might help if you installed it properly as well.  LOL.

Did it come with two sets of seals?  that is so dumb, you need ONE washer between the overflow and tank.  both ends of the bulkhead "leak" along the threads but there is nowhere for the water to go as the space between the overflow and tank is sealed.  Don't know if I explained that well enough, but that is how it works.

You sure it is leaking from the box itself? the seams look pretty good to me.

You can do it the way you have it both you need seals on both sides of the bulkhead.  But I would not pass up the chance to have Jorge squirt for me. ..

FFR.. I was talking with one of the chemists in the office today and he said flex seal has some NASTY chemicals in it.  Like, you can dispose of it at any waste connections facility (our client).  yikes.
