APEX Horror Light Show

TLDR;

My APEX was toggling PM1 ports 5 and 6 on and off every second or so.  They are hooked to my fuge lights for testing, it was quite the light show.  Updating module software to version 7 fixed it.

Related to the other post...

When I run this program for my fuge lights:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
if SWX8_6 CLOSED then on

Even with my break out box disconnected...

It is a light show!  The lights turn on and off about once a second.

Same for SWX8_5

It almost seems intentional, as if I have something configured wrong on my PM1.

I tried googling but no luck.  Do I have a bad PM1, or contoller?  Is my PM1 configured wrong?

Thanks!!

Update =>  Fixed by updating module firmware to version 7 from version 6

I'm not sure if this is related to your issue, but there's an obscure issue if you have an older Apex and have it configured with the "Probe Expansion" option enabled that causes some switches to randomly toggle between OPEN and CLOSED for no reason.  See this FAQ:  https://forum.neptunesystems.com/showthread.php?8752-What-is-Probe-Exp-Probe-Expansion

Interesting!  That's what it sounded like, seems to much like a match for a coincidence.  Fortunately the firmware update fixed it.  This was my oldest PM1, which is pretty old!
