caolewis
Borrow my boss's camera to beat the WB demon that my old Nikon failed. Late night with rush/bad shots with some makeup on them. It will be a long time for me to do this again. It's fun to fine tune my system to try to max out their potential and be able to capture their beauties....but it's a paint in the butt with camera skills. Their colors are setback a little because heavy dose Bayer dip last Sunday with 2 more rounds to go the next two weeks so they won't be pretty no more soon. Enjoy these fires :-) Edited March 9, 2016 by caolewis

Frag tank: DIY LEDs done by Bombertech-Matt a year ago Display tank: 4 Hydra 52, 2 HydraHD and 2 Radion pro G3. I started out with Ai Sol on my dominated SPS DT tank, and slowly upgraded as they are $$. AI's products are very reliable for last 2 years; unlike other brands, they died within a year or so from my tank at work. I like LEDs and I can get outstanding colors out of my acros. It's all about controlling P and N and place them at right intensity to get their max colors; and need strong flow and rich of O2 to get excel grow. No additives ( all organic fish poops :-) ). I want to keep my tank simple and self sustaining. I run only Phosphate reactor (occasionally to control algea) and a very strong skimmer. caolewis
Great shots man!! At some point, i will cough up the cash to get that dang lens!! nice job!! The two newest pics were taken by Roleiii's camera that he posted for sale earlier in the forum. Just wanna make sure it took care of custom WB. Not bad of Cannon D60 on its regular lense. Took 'em in rush but more of a toy for the Winter later on to mess around with ISO/shutter and stuff. Now is time to heads back to river fulltime :-).
