bowen1022
Hi all! I just received a desktop skimmer for my fusion 10. I am having trouble with microbubbles in the display. Does anyone have a good solution for this. I installed it yesterday and it has been running ever since. PowderBlue
I vinegar bathed it for like a day and let it just run in the tank for about 3 weeks and the bubbles finally went away Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
spectra
I think that is one issue with the Ghost skimmers is the bubbles......I tried a skimmer in my 20 and it micro bubbled also so took it out and am not running anything now. Emerald525
The microbubbles took longer for me to go away then 3 weeks. It took a couple of months I think.
Jeramy
Not going to lie here I am not a fan of these skimmers I think they should stick to making fish tanks and leave the skimmers be. Blue Z Reef
Not sure how similar these are to the tunze 9004 in design, but it helped manage the initial bubbles in the tunze by adding their filter pad to the bottom (open bottom skimmer, assuming it's the same deal with the ghost). Just be patient though, all skimmers tend to spaz out for a bit at first, vinegar bath is the only way people seem to be able to reduce the break in time.
