alittlemark
I have tended my 90 gal reef tank for just short of 3 years, but it is time to move on. It has been fun. I will list the prices of the big pieces, but I am looking to get rid of everything. Let me know if you want to see pictures of anything. Livestock - Note: I have had a hard time with hair algae lately. There will be some on all of the rocks, though I am trying to clear it away for the most part, before I sell. Foxface Rabbit fish (2 years+) - 15$ Female Clarkii Clown fish (3 years - My first fish) - 10$ Engineer Goby (4 inches) - 10$ 4 x community damsel fish of some kind - 2.50$ each All the fish - 30$ Other Finger Leather Coral (Cladiella) I am guessing, but I think that is what it is. It is almost 12 inches across - 50$ Tree Coral (Lemnalia) guessing again. Expands as high as about 12 inches, and nearly as wide - 40$ Leather Coral (lobophytum). About 4 inches across - 25$ Toadstool Coral (Sarcophyton) I have short polyp and long polyp and will sell them together. The short polyp has not been fully extending his polyps lately, but there are 3 distinct long polyp colonies - 20$ Mushroom corals - Lots of mushroom polyps and (I think Rodactis) - 1.50$ each Lots of zoanthids and green star polyps - 5$ - 15$ per rock Brittle Star Fish and snails - 5$ All the livestock, coral, rock, etc - 150$ Obviously I need to find homes for all of the livestock before I sell the equipment. 90gal glass tank with overflow - 150$ Black fitted stand - 50$ 30gal (I think) sump - 25$ Reef Octopus OTP-3000 Skimmer - 100$ Current 8 bulb T5 light (Extreme Pro I think) bulbs are less than 6 months old - 150$ Return Pump - 50$ 2 small pumps (for mixing water and phosban reactor) - 20$ each Phosban Reactor 150 - 25$ RODI system - 50$ All the equipment - 500$ Buy everything I have - 600$
alittlemark
All the fish seem healthy, but whoever ends up with the live rock will have to contend with the algae. I hope that it is worth it for the price, but I don't want it to be a surprise.
wanareef
Sry to hear your getting out, Is your Toadstool Coral (Sarcophyton) like this
alittlemark
It never got that developed, so It doesn't have the pronounced wrinkles, but I think that it is basically the same. The polyps are not extended at the moment. I have two varieties though. The short polyp one is white-ish. It hasn't fully extended itself in a while. The longer polyp one is more like a green yellow in the polyps. Hope that helps.
Higher Thinking
Which Reef Octopus skimmer is it? The 3000 number is just the pump, right? That pump is on several models.
alittlemark
You are right. I had forgotten. It is the Reef Octopus DNW 200. It is a recirculating skimmer, outside the sump, beside the tank.

alittlemark
I am not sure how best to share images so I dropped them into a folder on my Google Drive. Take a look here if you are interested - Sorry the pictures are not very good, and obviously the color is off due tot he flash. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B7PEvZ2msD9dSTRVUU1JeklqcEE&usp=sharing Everything looks pretty neglected in there, but the fish are healthy (as far as I can tell), and the corals that didn't get crowded by the algae are doing great. Zoanthids that were covered in algae are waking up and should be just fine. Please let me know if you have any other questions
