Guest Mbeef61 Posted May 28, 2007 Share Posted May 28, 2007 my name is mike and i am studying zoology at osu...this is my 100 gallon thats finally about complete....its been running now for about 6 months. it includes; 100 gallon arcylic display. 33 long custom sump 33 long refugium/prop tank stand and hood built by myself. equipment - where to start sequence dart on closed loop mag12 return through scwd Octopus DDNW-250 Recirculating Protein Skimmer 2 phosban reactors...1 for carbon 1 for phosgaurd sealine platinum 1/10hp chiller 18 watt uv sterilizer various fans, heaters etc lighting - just over a 1000 watts 3x110 watt vho - 1 daylight 2 super actinic 2x250 watt halide 14k hamiltons 1x175 watt halide 14k over center brace corals - about 40 species now including clams sps dominated with some lps some fungias 2 croceas and 1 derasa sarcophyton monte caps/digis xenia factory trumpets merulina my prized diploastrea birdsnest hynophora brain or maze i should say 3 zoas gsp pocillipora pavona cactus coral millepora frogspawn etc inhabitants about 18 or so main ones 6 blue-green chromis 5 squamapinnis anthias 1 male 4 female 1 foxface 1 blonde naso tang 1 sailfin tang 1 hippo tang 1 royal gramma 1 longnose hawk 1 bangii cardinal 1 sandsifting starfish 1 banded serpent star 1 reef lobster 3 blood shrimp 2 cleaner shrimp 8-10 peppermints 2 harlequin shrimp in fuge 1 anemone shrimp in frogspawn arrow crab in fuge countless snails and hermits pictures - horrible due to lack of able camera, taken with halides off so its just vhos the first photo is when tank was first setup and hood wasnt even done yet...kinda to set a reference to see where it has gone since then i use the red monte to see how big its gotten dispite almost constant fragging...anyone interested haha second picture is left side of display currently third is right side fourth is over all Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Mbeef61 Posted June 3, 2007 Share Posted June 3, 2007 hey reef-fisher, here are some more pics of some corals i will trade...also would be willing to let this one clam go....he comes on a decent size rock like baseball maybe....let me know what you think. there is the clam the green trumpet/caulastrea there is 1 with 3 acros...ones a yellow tort, ones a reddish purple that grows in clusters, ones beige with electric green purple tips and long polyps from great barrier reef and then the electric green hydnophora. the next is one with red montepora digi, blue acro from upscales cube, greyish monte digi fast grower, and purple tip green acro. the last one is the other color caulastrea/trumpet also not pictured...the purple rimmed green monte cap, but there is a picture above.
